Meet Rustler, your future cuddle buddy! Rustler entered Los Angeles Animal Control - Lancaster Shelter as a stray. When he wasn't claimed, we scooped him up on April 9th to become a Frosted Face. He is 10 years old, weighs 10 lbs., and has the sweetest personality. After recently being neutered and having a dental, during which 18 teeth were removed, Rustler is feeling like a new man! He is ready for his forever home... might it be with you? Rustler loves people and readily approaches for pets. Sitting in someone's lap is his favorite! This makes Rustler a wonderful ambassador to represent FFF at community events. Rustler joined volunteers and several other dogs available for adoption at a presentaton about FFF. During the presentation, he made the rounds through the audience and happily being held by anyone who would have him! Rustler is an all-around good boy in a home environment, too. He has been on several two-week Frosted Flings and has earned 5-star reviews from all of his fling families! Here is a summary of what we learned about Rustler from his fling families: Behavior in a home: Rustler adapts very well to new surroundings. He needs only a few days to settle in and get used to new routines. He has fit in well with other dogs in each of his fling homes and also been a devoted and affectionate companion to the humans. Rustler loves to be close to his people. He will follow you around the house, as he loves to be a part of everything you do. Despite his "velcro" nature, he doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety when home alone and does fine in a crate or out in the house. He is house-trained, quiet, and does well with other dogs. Energy Level: Rustler is the kind of pal who is equally happy to join you on a walk or on the couch. He loves going for walks, is great on leash, and can easily go 1-2 miles daily. He is non-reactive to other dogs during walks and is always happy to make a new human friend. Rustler is eagerly awaiting his forever home. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and energetic companion who will be by your side through thick and thin, Rustler might just be the one for you!

Meet Snickers! Snickers came to us from Carlsbad Animal Shelter. He is 14 years old and weighs 29 lbs. Snickers is very sweet, loves to be petted, and rewards you with kisses! Snickers went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home while he enjoyed lots of love and cuddles. His Fling Mom reports: "The best boy is back at Frosted Faces! I can't say enough good things about Snickers! He is so easy to care for and easy going. He is potty trained, is gentle taking treats, was a huge hit at work. and very well behaved. Snickers is so playful and full of energy. He loves going on walks and is getting excited when he sees his leash. He also loves when we play with his stuffies with him. I think he would do well with kids or other dogs because he is so social. Snickers is always wagging his tail and has the kindest temperament. He is also content to lay with you on the couch and watch tv He will sleep as long as you do in the morning and sleeps in his own bed in our room. Sometimes he gets silly and tries to jump and wiggle which is pretty funny with his short legs and big belly. No one told him he is 14 because he certainly doesn't act like it! Despite his age, I think he has many years left in him, especially if he can lose some weight. Snickers is a dream and would be a wonderful addition to any family!"
