Story
LOOKING FOR ADOPTIVE HOME ASAP IN THE NE/CO/WY/SD   SAM   Located in Dalton, NE Long haired Doxie mix we think  4 years old  Dog friendly Cat friendly  Kid friendly Understands the concept that potty is outside; but access is 24/7 Will be fully vetted (vaccinated, wormed, microchipped & nurtured on 8/8 15ish pounds    Sam was picked up running loose north of Potter late evening 7/14. He was impounded in Sidney shortly after.  The finder is a friend of rescue who asked us to help so we did.  After our first post we were contacted by someone who knew the owner and let us know he let Sam go on purpose and he has lived his whole life in a cage. This tracks with his horrible condition.  But onward to better things little man.  Sam has been groomed and looks and smells so much better.  He loves his food and toys and being outside. He’s also fine with dogs and cats. He’s a very friendly and happy guy who deserves a home that can let him continue to be who he is and thrive in a positive environment.    We think for sure long hair Doxie. But mix is perhaps a Shihtzu?  Pug?  Chi?  Hard to say really. But he’s adorable regardless.    Sam gets neutered 8/8 and it would be amazing if he could go directly to his forever home.    Please contact with any questions at the info below.    Please contact us if interested or have questions.    To Contact Us Message the Page  Facebook Message Cilena Dueker TEXT Cilena at 308-249-4308 Fill out our Adoption Application at https://www.highplainspaw.org/adoption-application Fill out our Foster Application at  https://www.highplainspaw.org/foster-application Email us at highplainspaw@gmail.com   $200.00 Adoption Fee   (The $200.00 is considered a nonrefundable donation and being we are a 501c3 organization it is tax deductible.
