Story
Ryder is a sweet boy that we rescued about two years ago. He is perfect with people who give him his space until he trusts them. The issue is that he is very aggressive toward strainers and people that try to approach him other than our household members and a hand full of others. He will bite if he feels threatened, he has become a liability for our family due to the fact that in two years of training he still occasionally becomes aggressive out of the blue and will bite people. He is small so bites have caused minimal damage but we have children and their friends and our friends are have been bitten in some rare instances. He really is sweet and needs a companion to devote a lot of time. He is very attached to me but does not like any other men. He could be a great companion for an individual that lives alone and has a lot of time for snuggling and playing.

Jespe is a very sweet girl. She is a short stacked brindle girl who may be a little doxi or terrier. She is from the streets of Mexico. She loves to be as close as possible for cuddle time with her foster mom and other foster dog Latte, her best friend from Mexico who came up also. The more comfortable she gets; the puppy play comes out and she gets the zoomies. Jespe will need someone that will teach her basic manners for in a house as she likes to be nosy when you're eating. Jespe ignores the cats and is pretty good at potty training but has had a few accidents. Jespe isn't a fan of kids so is looking for a home without kids. Jasper is a 4-year-old purebred red dapple miniature dachshund. Jasper is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Jasper comes from a background where he was bullied by a bigger dog. As a result he wasn't allowed any toys without a fight. So he is learning how to play with toys. He likes hard chews like benebones. He like to chew up stuffed toys, so he should be supervised with stuffies. He has shown some resource guarding tendencies with his stuffies and socks. He will always trade his treasure for a treat though. He also like to chew (but not destroy) pillows, and will again resource guard. He is working on this in foster care. Jasper loves to play fetch with his ball and have a good snuggle. He has excellent potty habits and will bark to go outside. He is crate trained and rides quietly in a crate in the car. He is very sweet boy. Jasper would do well in a home either by himself or with other small dogs that are dog friendly. He's never been around cats, so that assessment is unknown. He is fine with respectful children. Jasper has been completely vetted and is ready to be adopted. The adoption fee is $350 + MN sales tax. - You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Dachshund-Basset mix and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!!
