Story
(11/21/2023)   “Ladies meet Gregory! He is a gentleman and sweet on the ladies. He prefers a home where he is the man of the house and there are no male care takers. He is easy going and will be your best friend. Gregory is a young chihuahua/ dachshund mix who enjoys cuddling and play time. He is great with other dogs so a dog sibling would be a great companion! Please do be patient with him as he adjust to the new environment, he’s a fast learner and just needs a little bit of encouragement. Gregory is also great with kids!!! As part of Gregory’s $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Gregory, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##2065558##

*** AVAILABLE ONSITE ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY OR BY APPOINTMENT ONLY - email adoptions@savinggracenc.org to schedule *** Meet Willow, a sweet and spirited dog with a heart full of love! Willow is both visually and hearing impaired, but you won't find this Willow weeping! She tackles life head-on and can navigate her world just fine! She eats well, loves car rides, goes up and down stairs unassisted, and enjoys chewing on bones or yummy treats without bothering the furniture. The best part is that through all her daily activities, she will make you smile and laugh with her goofy personality! Willow is doing well on her housetraining and prefers the freedom to run loose in a securely fenced yard. She also enjoys short walks and does well on a leash. She gets along great with dogs of all ages and sizes and loves to play! However, she would probably thrive best as a solo dog or with a companion of a similar size. Willow is a relatively quiet gal but likes to use her voice when playing with other dogs or if she needs your attention. Because she is not highly visual and cannot hear, Willow can be a little toy- and food-possessive at times, so she would likely be better off in an adult-only home. Willow does well entertaining herself with her toys, and after playing she is ready to snuggle! This adorable little dachshund is hoping for a patient and understanding adopter, as she is truly a sweet girl who is ready to shower her new family with affection and joy!

Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Hi, I'm Fancy, the pocket cutie who is ready to steal your heart. I seem to be fully potty-trained, and I walk really well on leash and if you're my best friend, I will be by your side the whole time! I love to play fetch with my ball, but I'm also really happy to chill all day. I do like my crate, it's my safe space, but I will take a sofa, bed, or lap to cuddle up on. I don't care much for treats, but I will take belly rubs and cuddles instead. I'm more of a mommy's girl - men are still a little scary to me, but with patience and a calm introduction, I may warm up. I would do best in a solo dog household, as I like my own toys and prefer to play with my humans, but I can go for walkies with other dogs - my canine foster brother has taught me how to do that! Even though I'm small, I've got a lot of love to give, and if you give me a forever home, I will think you're the best thing since sliced bread!

Story
HI-I need to re-home my puppy Sam. He is 9 months old. He is good with other dogs, but he is not good with cats. He is potty trained, he does need to go out often since he is still a puppy. I need to re-home him because I have a 5 yr old with special needs and he is too much for her. He does like to chill and lounge with his people, but he has alot of energy and needs to be walked or let outside often to play. He is a daschund/feist mix. I do have an appt to get him fixed, but its not until September at the spay and neuter clinic. I can always transfer that over to an adopter.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hello! My name's Ibar! Ibar is a charming little dog with a heart full of love. Despite a challenging start in life from a hoarding situation, he has proven to be resilient and sweet-natured. This adorable canine companion has a special affinity for toys and delights in playtime, especially with other dogs. Due to his past experiences, Ibar may initially appear shy, but underneath that hesitancy lies a gentle and affectionate soul. He is in the process of learning to trust and become more comfortable with people. Patience is key when interacting with Ibar, as he may take some time to warm up to new faces and situations. In the right environment, Ibar has the potential to blossom into a confident and happy pup. A caring and patient owner who understands his need for time and reassurance will be the perfect match for Ibar. With love and support, Ibar is sure to overcome his fears and embrace the joy that life has to offer. *He has had surgery for his cherry eyes twice but they have come back both times.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2024, 1:07 pm
