Story
Tucker is a rescue that we adopted in 2014. He is a very sweet and smart dog. Since we adopted him we noticed that he has some abandonment issues and would be destructive in the house if we left him. We now have three children and unfortunately less time to devote to Tucker. He seems to have some undiagnosed anxiety and needs a home where he can get more attention and less time left alone. When we are all home Tucker likes laying down alone or cuddling up. He does bark at other dogs and will run up to them but has never bitten or snapped. He is very sweet with our kids and has never shown any aggression toward people of any age. He deserves more than we are able to provide due to work schedules and children. He would make a great partner for the right person or household.

Story
Mel is a 10-12 yr old chiweenie who has had the life! His owner passed and he has been with us since. He is a wonderful pup! He does not really love other dogs other than his bestie Wendy (also on our adoptable list). They have been together a long time. While they may not be a bonded pair, they do love each other and would love to find a family together if possible. Mel came to us with a rotten mouth, unneutered, and had not seen a vet in many years. Since he has been here, we have gotten his medical needs met! He is vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and has have a full mouth dental extraction so he now longer has any teeth. Don't let that get you down! He is a MUCH happier dog today because of it. If you are interested in him, please fill out our application and we will reach out! We are slow to respond due to how busy we remain, so please be patient with us!

Story
An itty-bitty-Pittie, Weiner Dog mix, ready to be your best friend, meet Taz! Loving, goofy, mellow and relaxed, Taz is just the cutest sweetest boy, all love and loyalty! Taz weighs in around 30 pounds, and we believe him to be a Pit Bull/Dachshund mix (yep…Pitweenie!!) around a year and a half old. Taz is, however, a rescue. His exact age and breed are unknown to us, and cannot be guaranteed. We can guarantee that Taz is 100% good boy, the most LOVING dog, and soooo cute. He stole each and every one of our hearts here at the rescue, watch his video to see the Three Little Pitties fam melt for Taz’s sweet and silly spirit. Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/Q-EInps3Ww0?si=ssvExifehMUs15Kk Taz is such a charmer, with a big goofy smile, and his cute lil face! This boy loves belly rubs, treats, kisses, hugs and all things “human”! Taz warms up to new humans SO quickly. He’s a people-loving dog that just wants to be held, pet and snuggled. I’m so sure that it will be love at first sight when he meets his forever family. Taz already has good house manners, and he’s great at meeting strangers on leash- no barking, pulling, or lunging. Taz was cat tested here at the rescue, and he got along just fine with our house cat, Tom! He’s not playful with cats, he’s just happy to coexist with them. With other dogs, Taz is a perfect little gentleman. He wasn’t too interested in playing with our BIG beefy pittie mixes here at the rescue, but he did just fine greeting them. Taz has spent most of his time at the rescue with us getting love from any and all humans around. When other dogs attempt to slip into the mix for a little affection of their own, Taz is understanding, makes way and shares the love. No bullying, growling or snapping from this sweet little angel boy. In the car, Taz is calm, collected and confident. This boy is a superstar on long drives, showing no signs of car sickness, and refraining from roaming, barking or reacting. He’s such a good boy. Taz would do wonderfully in just about any home, he’s a go with the flow kind of guy, cat and dog friendly. He seems to enjoy calmer settings, and may do best in a calm and quiet household. Taz would love to be your best buddy. He kindly asks that you take him on the occasional outing, invest in his socialization, allow him to trot after you through the house, and snuggle up on the couch with him as often as possible! Taz will make an excellent addition to your pack, or thrive as a solo dog. He’s SO loving, and looking forward to falling in love with his forever family. Taz is a one-of-a-kind magic dog. His love will make you smile on even your gloomiest of days. Taz is such a loving and sweet good dog, with a wonderful personality, and an excitement for each and every new friend that will surely bring joy to your life. If this boy is the sweet little angel dog you’ve been waiting for, put in an application today. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. 🐾 Please email: Katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. Story
Clementine and cutie are interchangeable terms for the fruit and the same applies for this little gal. Sweet as can be with a zen-level peaceful ease. I don’t know how but this girl walked into a very busy, hectic day and seemed to take all of it away. Her simple presence is incredibly calming but when she comes to lean in for love, that’s her magic touch, it all sort of melts away. She even moves slow and steady, no urgency just presence. If she was a person she would be a yoga master who holds meditation workshops and always wears beautiful earth-toned linen. Maybe a little specific but you get it. Back to the fact that she is a dog, she has wonderful dog qualities! Clementine is fortunate to be fostered in a loving home with other dogs, cats and people who confirm the sweetness of her. They have shared that she is house trained, quiet, so respectful of their cats and an easy companion to their dogs. She is attentive because she is adoring, which also leads to being sensitive when reprimanded. A soft approach to teaching and boundaries will be all she needs. She is estimated to be about 2 years old, she weighs an adorable 18 lbs, and observation tells us she may be a Chihuahua/ dachshund mix. Of course, given she is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or age but we do guarantee cuteness and lovability! Clementines dream home would be a peaceful place, where other pets are welcome, but the most important element is love and security. Her needs are basic, it truly is a person who to literally lean on and a soft place to lay. She would make a wonderful companion for someone in the slower days of life and would be a perfect small living space companion whether thats an apartment, condo, or retirement community. She will offer gentle hello’s to anyone she meets without ever being pushy or insistent. If kids are in her life it would be best if they were slightly older only so they can understand that she needs to be treated with care. She is a dream on leash and does well in the car, though we suspect car rides make her tummy feel funny. Her foster shared that Clementines favorite moment of the day is when its evening tv time followed by bedtime, basically the guaranteed snuggle time. As soon as she sits down, Clementine is there to curl up next to her, occasionally bringing one of her loved stuffies along with her. In between snuggles sessions she will literally curl up with a stuffie. It is adorable! And although she is crate-trained, she is trust-worthy when allowed to free-roam. She isn’t destructive or spooked by sounds or visitors. Honestly, she can best summed up by saying, she is all-around easy.
