Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Flash is a sweet and cuddly older gentleman that is having a midlife crisis– in a good way! He’s feeling quite a bit sassier since he’s been on a diet and had a much-needed dental surgery. He’s still working hard at keeping up with his foster sisters, and while his short little legs deceive him a bit, he’s pretty proud that he can now follow everyone up and down the stairs several times a day, and no longer needs assistance when jumping on the couch. He does need assistance getting into the car and LOVES car rides. He enjoys strutting and exploring on his daily walks and finds joy in sniffing around the garden or trails, and lounging in the sunshine. And what a difference his dental surgery has made! He’s literally found his voice again (but really only makes a peep if his foster sisters get their barks on – he’s mostly quiet), has taken up grooming, scratching with his back leg, and licking himself like regular dogs do, and welcomes ear and under the chin scratches, now. He enjoys his kennel and sleeps there in the room at night with everyone else in the family bedroom. He likes being with his people! He also goes willingly into his kennel if he needs to be left alone during the day. Flash needs a fur ever family that will continue to help him achieve his weight-loss goals by keeping up with light exercise and offering him healthy, low-calorie snacks for being a very good boy. He LOVES most vegetables and has developed a liking for canned green beans and cooked carrots (no salt please!).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com** August 19, 2024, 2:09 am

Story
Hi there! My name is Brownie, and I am a sweet and timid dog. I am a proud mama who raised six babies, and now it's my turn to find my forever home. I am a bit shy at first and need some time to warm up to my new friends, but once I do, you'll see that I have a heart of gold. I am fully house-trained and I enjoy my walks. I love to curl up at your feet and sleep quietly through the night. I may be a bit apprehensive around other dogs, as I am not sure if I am good with them, but I get along well with cats and the other foster dog in my current home. Even though I am a timid girl, I have a lot of love to give, and I am sure that with the right family, I will come out of my shell and become the best version of myself. I am ready to find a home where I can feel safe, loved, and protected. If you think you can give me the love and patience I need, please come and meet me. I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life with you! Sincerely, Brownie

Story
Caramel is a cute puppy with a sweet and playful personality. This baby boy is one of six beautiful babies from his momma, Brownie. Even though we don't know who his dad is, we predict that he will be on the smaller side, just like his mom, who weighs only 22 pounds. Caramel has beautiful brown fur and bright blue eyes, making him an incredibly adorable companion. This puppy is friendly and playful. He would benefit from going to a home where he can receive the love, care, and attention that he needs and deserves. Overall, Caramel is a wonderful puppy with a lot of love to give. If you believe that Caramel is the right pet for you, please contact us!

Hello, my name is Mousse, and I am one sweet little puppy! I am a daschund mix, and one of Brownie's six beautiful babies. Even though my mom is only 22 pounds, not sure about dad but think I will be on the smaller side. I love wrestling with my siblings and chewing on bones, and I am just a playful little puppy. Even though I am a baby, I am very smart and sweet. My future family will have to teach me how to be a good girl and learn how to be the best companion. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and playful pup, apply to adopt me, Mousse.

Story
Strudel is an adorable and sweet puppy with short legs, one of six beautiful babies from her mom, Brownie. With a mysterious dad, we think Strudel will be on the smaller side, like her mom (mom is only 22lbs). As a puppy, she is playful and loves to wrestle with her siblings and chew on bones. Her loving and kind nature will make her a great addition to your family. Although Strudel is friendly and open to warmth and affection, she may not get along with other dogs.If you're looking for a sweet, adorable, and playful puppy, Strudel is the perfect companion for you!
