Mina | Female | 10 Months | Dalmatian/Cattle Dog Mix | 29 lbs | Good with Dogs, Cats, Respectful Kids | Spayed, Microchipped, Heartworm Negative Meet Mina! Mina is a petite, shy girl who blossoms into a loving and playful companion once she feels comfortable. She loves to run and would thrive with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures. Mina is eager to please and highly food-motivated, making her a quick learner with positive reinforcement. She plays well with other dogs and is always respectful of them. Mina is curious about cats but shows no prey drive, making her a great fit for a home with feline companions. Although she hasn’t been around children in her foster home, her gentle nature suggests she would do well with respectful, older kids. Mina is ready to bring her sweet personality and playful spirit into a loving forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal and eager companion, Mina might be the perfect match for you!

Lovely Faith is the ultimate sweetheart looking for a loving home after being abandoned along with three other dogs when her owners moved away. Found tied up outside, it's suspected she spent her entire life in this situation, but her spirit remains bright. She has now made the trip to Toronto looking for her forever home. Sweet Faith was born deaf and is cautious when meeting new people. Once she knows she can trust someone she is very loving and eager to please. She loves using her nose and eyesight, and is very food motivated. Faith loves cuddles, belly rubs, and chin scratches. She has recently discovered the joy of wriggling around in the snow! She loves sniffing when out on her walks and is learning to play with toys. Faith is very motivated by treats and will do excited spins and sits to get a treat. She gets so excited when her foster comes home that she does a full body wiggle even in her crate. She will lean right into her trusted people for cuddles or place her chin on your lap or hands and gaze up lovingly. Since Faith cannot hear, she can get a bit overwhelmed and overly focused on watching people or movements when outside. She gets nervous if stranger humans or dogs get too close and may give a warning bark or growl, but is also curious. She is really trying to figure everything out and appreciates extra guidance from her foster. She may alert bark when out but doesn't pursue anything. She is reactive to other dogs when on leash and her fosters are actively working on desensitizing her. She currently gets 3 walks a day of about half an hour. When she is relaxed she walks well and loose on leash. She will sometimes catch a scent and linger. She is very curious about critters and will pull towards them. Faith likes to follow her trusted people around the house. She is crated when left alone and settles quickly. She has stayed in the crate for up to 6 hours and is comfortable in there. She sleeps in the crate at night with the door open. She does not bark or howl when left alone. Faith is completely potty trained. She is working on basic training using hand gestures. She knows sit and is working on stay. She is very treat motivated and eager to please. Faith appreciates slow intros and needs time to approach, sniff, and get to know people on her own terms. Once she's comfortable she is a total love bug and wants to be close to her people. She is very loving, bonds quickly and easily, and likes to follow her people around the house. She hasn't met any children yet but would likely do well with older dog-savvy children who are respectful of her space and don't sneak up on her. Faith is often reactive to other dogs when on leash. She lived with other dogs on the farm in Tennessee and has met a few new friends since coming into foster care so it seems she wants to be social but needs support to figure it all out. She has mixed reactions to seeing dogs on the street but there doesn't seem to be a pattern. She has growled and yapped at a couple of dogs, and has wagged her tail and rolled over for others. She will likely be dog social but needs space and proper intros for now. She has shown a desire to chase squirrels and other critters and has not been tested with cats. Faith is looking for a quiet home and a patient family who can spend time showing her she is safe and working with her to be her best self. She would do best in a home with a yard to hang out in and explore but she could live in a condo or apartment. She will need a family committed to working with her on training and basic skills, including the use of hand signals. She will need a calm environment to decompress and thrive. Faith's gentle and loving nature will make her a cherished member of a lucky family. If you have love and patience to set her up with structure we believe she will be a wonderful family pet. If you’re interested in adopting Faith, please apply at https://www.fetchandreleash.ca/adoption-info#adoption-form Faith's adoption fee is $250.
