Story
Hi there, I'm Tina! About Me: Name: Tina Age: 4 years young Sex: Female Breed: Doberman mix Color: Sleek black Weight: A fit 22 kg My Rescue Story: Once upon a time, I was tied up in a village and my owner moved away without me. The villagers didn't understand how special I am, but thankfully, a kind soul saw my worth and saved me from a grim fate. Now, I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. My Personality: I'm a total lovebug! I adore cuddles and will rub against you like a little shadow. Whether we've just met or known each other for ages, I'm all about showing affection. Belly rubs? Yes, please! I'll show you my tummy as a sign of trust and friendship. I'm a bit of a social butterfly with humans, but I need a slow introduction to other dogs. I'm learning that sharing is caring, especially when it comes to toys and treats. Cats intrigue me, but I'm a good girl and will keep walking if you lead the way. I love a good adventure outdoors, but I'm also content to chill out at home after some fun in the sun. I'm learning to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes I get a little excited. I promise I'm getting better every day! I'm not food aggressive with my human friends, but I prefer to dine alone without other dogs cramping my style. I'm potty trained and do my business outside like a champ. My Social Skills: I'm still a pup at heart when it comes to playtime! I haven't had much experience with other doggos, so I get super excited and sometimes don't know my own strength and can be a bit aggresive. I'm like a shadow to my walker, following faithfully even when other furry friends are around. Dog parks with lots of pups are a bit overwhelming for me, so I prefer quiet walks where I can be the center of your world. Looking for a Human: I'm searching for someone who loves snuggles as much as I do, enjoys leisurely walks, and appreciates a quiet evening at home. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share your life with, I'm your girl! If you think we could be a match made in heaven, let's meet and sniff each other out! Paws and kisses, Tina ##2260925##

Story
Rue is absolutely the sweetest and gentlest dog ever!! We cannot figure out how she wasn't claimed but here we are! This dog is very people friendly and calm and would do well in any family. She is very well mannered and walks extremely well on leash. She could live with another well matched low energy dog but will not tolerate reactive or pushy behavior directed to her. She is quite indifferent with other dogs. If you are looking for an easy dog to live with that would love to be your best friend, then come on down and meet this lovely girl! Rue needs to have her left eye removed due to an old traumatic injury. That will be scheduled soon! At City of Vancouver Animal Services, we have a foster-to-adopt program whereby prospective new owners foster the adoptable animal for 21 days before committing to adoption. This ensures that both the new owner and the adoptable animal are well suited to each other. Adoption Fee $374 Includes: -Spay/Neuter -First set of shots -One vet visit -Microchip -Bag of food If you live in Vancouver, you will also need to buy a dog license.

Story
Meet Reginold: The Good Boy! Reginold is a 10-month-old Doberman mix, whose striking good looks are impossible to ignore. With his sleek chocolate-and-tan coat, soulful amber eyes, and a noble 22-inch frame, this dashing pup is ready to turn heads wherever he goes! Weighing in at 50 lbs (and still filling out!), Reginold is an active, curious pup who's learning the ropes of life. True to his puppy nature, he's full of joy and a bit of mischief! He loves to "woo-woo-woo" with excitement when his foster mom gets home and has a talent for sneakily hiding his favorite toys from the other dog in the house. Speaking of dogs, Reginold plays wonderfully with his foster sibling! After a good play sesh you can catch him plopped down in a crisp pile of leaves or chewing a good stick! This guys loves a good stroll and is working on a few kinks such as passing unfamiliar dogs (he tends to get a bit excited) but a little patience and training will help him to be his best self! While Reggie has a calm and easygoing demeanor, we recommend a house with older dog savy kids (or non at all) for this boy, as high energy kids tend to make him nervous. As for cats? He's seen them and couldn't care less—what a gentleman! Reginold is house-trained for the most part but has a few quirks: he on occasion tends to submissive and excited peeing (belly bands have been helping with this!) He sleeps soundly in his crate all night, happily relaxes there during the day when needed, and has already mastered the command ‘in your house,' going right in to rest like the good "boyd" he is! However, he has an appetite for anything soft and fluffy, so we suggest keeping an eye on him around fluffy beds and blankets! With his playful personality, and devotion to his people, Reginold is ready to grow into the incredible companion he's destined to be. He'll thrive in a home that can give him love, patience, and lots of belly rubs!

Story
Fritz: The Inquisitive Canine with a Curious Ear 👂 Fritz is a handsome Doberman with a heart of gold. At 5 years young, he's full of life and ready to bond with his forever family. He's a big(ish) boy at 65 pounds, but don't let his size intimidate you! He's a gentle giant who loves to cuddle and give kisses.💋 His distinctive feature is his perpetually perked ear, a constant reminder of his curious nature. 🐕Fritz gets along well with other dogs and cats. He's a bit of a velcro dog though, always wanting to be close to his human or his canine companion. This handsome guy is good on leash and enjoys going for walks. He will pull sometimes, but responds well to correction. He's also crate-trained and goes in easily at night, although he may whine for a few moments once in. 🚽Fritz is still working on his house training, but is improving with frequent pee breaks, corrections and consistency. He does sometimes have a bad chewing habit, so keep your shoes in a safe spot. 👞 While Fritz is a laid-back dog, he does enjoy playtime and a daily walk. He's not overly toy-driven, but he does love treats, chewing on bones and playing fetch.🦴 🍎Much like a toddler, Fritz needs some help with the potty, doesn't like loud noises or unfamiliar sounds and will only eat his apples without the peel! If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Fritz is the perfect dog for you.♥️ Fritz has not been tested with children.

Story
Meet Thelma! 🐾 This 6-9 month-old, 40-lb Red Doberman is the perfect blend of beauty, brains, and boundless energy. With her sleek, chocolate-colored coat and striking tan markings, Thelma catches everyone's eye. She's about 18 inches tall, compact and ready for adventure—whether it's playing in the yard, chasing after her foster sister, or curling up for a cozy nap. Thelma is as clever as she is adorable. When she's playing with her foster sister, Dottie, she's figured out that speed isn't always her strong suit—so she takes the smart approach, using shortcuts and outwitting her playmate during their backyard chases. Wrestling and nibbling are her go-to play styles, though her foster family sometimes steps in to give the mouth games a break. She has a playful spirit, but she's also quick to take direction and settle down when needed. One of Thelma's favorite pastimes is collecting all the toys! Whether it's plush, squeaky, or something she can chew on, she's all about grabbing them one by one and making a little toy mountain at her favorite spot on the sectional sofa. It's not just playtime—it's strategy! And if her foster sister tries to steal a toy, it only adds to the fun for Thelma. When it comes to her quirks, Thelma has a unique obsession: the TV! She barks whenever a horse, dog, or big cat shows up on screen. Whether it's a lion in a nature documentary or a dog in a commercial, she's quick to notice and let her opinion be known. She may need a little redirecting (and perhaps a chew toy) to help you enjoy your show in peace. Leash training is still a work in progress for this curious girl. On walks, Thelma is eager to explore and greet other dogs and may resort to pulling at times and a few friendly barks—not out of aggression, but more likely from frustration at not being able to say hello. She's also fascinated by squirrels and other critters she encounters outdoors. Patience, some treats, and training will help her channel that enthusiasm into better leash manners. At home, Thelma is making great progress. She's believed to be fully house trained and only had one accident on her first day here. Now, she knows the routine and heads outside to do her business. When it comes to her crate, she's a bit hesitant at first but can't resist the lure of a tasty treat to get her inside. She sleeps through the night in her crate and spends time there during the day when her foster parents are at work—having her foster sister nearby definitely helps her feel comfortable. As for new experiences, Thelma hasn't met any children or cats yet, so we're not sure how she'd react. But given her playful nature and smarts, we're sure she'd adapt with the right introductions. If you're ready to add this smart, playful gal to your life, Thelma's ready to meet you!
