Story
#A5679576 Meet Dalton, a 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher who’s a gorgeous example of the breed, with natural ears and a tail that make him stand out in the best way!  He’s got giant cupcake-sized paws and a thin, gangly frame that could use about 20 more pounds to reach his healthy weight – so he's ready to be spoiled with plenty of delicious meals and snackies! Dalton is eager to please and looks to his people for guidance, always attentive and on alert, making him a great candidate for training. While he hasn’t had much in the way of that training yet, with the right structure and consistent boundaries, he’ll thrive and become the perfect companion. Once trained, Dalton should have a medium energy level and could be an excellent sibling to other pups in the household, especially with the right introductions. Story
Azumi is a sweet 2 yr old girl. She is about 40 lbs. She loves to curl up and sleep on car rides. She loves chewing her tough toys. She loves to go on walks and be with people. We got her from the dog shelter as a companion for our husky, after our other dog had passed. He has only tolerated her, but they never really clicked. Things changed when I had my baby. The husky became so overprotective that he has become rude with her and won’t let her come near us and we have to constantly break them up when he chases her off and tries to fight her. She deserves a home where she is relaxed and able to play and run around freely. If someone could provide this for her, it would be great because I really don’t want to send her back to that dog shelter where she looked so miserable.

Story
Our girl Stella is such a fun loving, cuddly, ball of energy. She is almost 8 months old. We rescued her when she was about 8 weeks. We thought we would be able to have a dog coexist with our two cats if we got one young enough. Unfortunately, the last 6 months have been hell for all five of us. Stella is interested in our cats and only wants to play but our two cats HATE her. They have not been able to adjust and keeping them separate has been exceedingly difficult. We have tried training for all the animals, we did proper introductions, we followed any bit of advice that was given and every article we read about introducing animals. Stella deserves a loving forever home. We wish that was our home. It breaks our heart to write this knowing we are abandoning her. I never thought this situation would NOT work out especially with the time, money and energy we have put into this. Stella is such a beautiful doggy inside and out. She needs an owner that doesn't have asshole cats.

Story
Badger is a 1-year-old Purebred American Doberman Pinscher. Badger, his mom, and sister were rescued from a very neglectful owner when they were just 3 months old. Badger and his sister Mini are still looking for their forever homes. Badger is still very much a puppy and behaves like one. He loves to snuggle and roughhouse with his foster brothers, chew on toys, sunbathe and run around in his yard. He would do best in a home with a large yard and another playful dog in the household, no apartment living for him! Badger is good with small to medium-sized dogs but a little intimidated by larger dogs. He is extremely observant, curious, and smart, and is currently working on learning basic commands. Badger is fully crate-trained and is working on his potty training. He would love to have a family who can spoil him, keep up with his puppy energy, and be patient during training. Badger is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you are interested in him, please complete the application on our website: www.adoptmerescue.org. LOCAL AREA ADOPTION ONLY

Mini is a 1-year-old brown Purebred Doberman Pinscher. Mini, her mom, and brother were rescued from a very neglectful owner when they were just 3 months old. Mini and her brother Badger are still looking for their forever homes. Mini is sweet but extremely shy, because of the situation with the original owner she was not socialized at all, but she is very approachable and enjoys petting. She will need some training and an owner that is patient and understanding. Mini is fully crate-trained and doing well with her house training. Mini must go to a home with a yard, no apartment living! Mini is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Story
Hi, my names Odin and I am a very sweet and cuddly Doberman. I am fully house trained and have never had an accident inside the house. Im great with kids and other pets. Ive lived most of my life in an apartment so Im used to cozy places and all sorts of sounds, which means I don’t bark often.. unless someone rudely startles me by slamming a door. Im a happy and healthy dobie with lots of life and joy in me. I dont have a mean bone in my body, but that doesnt mean I wont be extremely quick to protect you. My dad rescued me but now he needs to find me a new home because he has to move out of the country. Im very easy to live with since my coat hardly sheds and I dont require much at all. Just feed me and love me and I can take care of the rest! I can even communicate and tell you what it is I need exactly (water, walk, food etc) so you’re not left guessing. My dad says I’m the perfect companion for someone who has the capacity to love me back, as much as I’m going to love them!

Story
Hi there! My name is Dodo! I'm a 1 year old Doberman Pinscher boy who came into the shelter at the end of January! My new friends here are still getting to know me more, but so far they know that I really love playing with toys outside and getting yummy treats! I'm a big puppy, so I have a lot of energy and will need some training with my new forever family. I'm a little nervous at first, especially with kids, but once I get to know you I'm very loveable and will be a great dog for an active lifestyle. If you would like to get to know me more please call my friends at the shelter to schedule a meet and greet appointment! Thank you!
