😍 MEET Rosie! She is our Life of the party, girl! 🤩 She is a 14-month-old Doberman/Shepherd mix. She is a big, strong girl so we're looking for someone who can handle her high energy. She is a smart girl who loves to run. She's good with dogs but in the play dates sometimes she tries just a little too hard. 🤪 She has never lived with cats. And due to her to her size we would recommend older children. She's good in the car and would definitely have the stamina for nice long hikes. Rosie's house broken. She does better in a strong plastic crate like a Ruffland. To meet our fun girl Rosie, Just click on this link to apply: https://bleusk9rescue.org/adopt.html

Meet Luna! This beautiful 18 month old dobie is the perfect mix of graceful and goofy, a little shy at first but a fun playful pup as soon as she warms up. She came to us with a lot of old healing pressure wounds and a history of some skin issues, but has been doing well now and all her scars are old and not active infection. There may have been some kind of contact dermatitis compounded by spending a lot of time crated based on the pattern of her injuries. She's been spayed and updated on shots and is ready for a home that loves and appreciates the breed and how much love she has to give. Please submit an application to meet her Primary Color: Red Secondary Color: Rust Weight: 68 Age: 1yrs 9mths 1wks

Story
Honey is a sweet two year old Doberman/husky mix. Sadly, her mommy has a terminal illness and has reached out to us to find Honey the perfect forever home. Honey is spayed, up-to-date on all required vaccines, HW negative and micro chipped. Honey is sweet and affectionate but a little awkward. She just needs a little bit of training to become that perfect dog. Training her mom just hasn’t been up to lately. Honey has one beautiful blue eye and the most adorable ears I’ve ever seen. She weighs about 55 pounds. She would do well with older children that wouldn't be knocked over as well as a good natured doggy sibling. If you would like to give this cutie pie a place in your family while putting her current mom at ease, please email dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our information and application. Story
Rooster is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so he is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. This handsome boy was found as a stray running out in the country. He is approximately 7 months old and weighs 45 pounds. He will probably weigh in the 60-pound range when fully grown. We are not sure of his breed mixture but think he may have some lab and Doberman in him. Rooster has a great personality and disposition. He loves all of the other rescue dogs, big and small. He loves people and will lie at your feet whenever he can. He loves water and the garden fountain is his favorite spot to hang out and keep cool. Rooster is a very sweet and goofy puppy. He is pretty much house-trained and runs to go outside with his buddies. He will need some leash training and would probably do better with a harness. We have no idea of how he is with cats. Rooster loves to run and play with his dog friends and toys. He may not be suitable for a home with small children because he may knock them over when running and playing. Rooster needs a fully fenced-in and secure yard. He will be a great dog for hiking or going to the dog park. He is an active boy and will run around the yard with a toy in his mouth playing tag with his buddies. He likes to be the leader and have everyone chase him. Rooster would do well either as an only dog or with other dogs. Rooster is a healthy and happy boy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, (DAPP, Bordatella, rabies, canine influenza), and microchipped. He is receiving monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Roosters' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Ridgefield NJ, Rye NY, or Nanuet NY.Rooster resides with our friends at Shaggy Dog Rescue and cannot be transported until after he is adopted. Please email kathy@houstonshaggydogrescue.org if you are interested in adopting this good boy. You may also find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/houstonshaggydogrescue
