Story
Pablo is a sweet, kind soul. Very patient with small animals and little kids. We were his first owner and he was turned over to a teenage boy. They love each other so much but as life would have it the teenage boy is now working full time and gone a lot and doesn’t have the time Pablo needs. Pablo is very much a people dog. He isn’t living his best life. He needs more attention and exercise. It is killing his owner to even think of giving him up but he loves him enough to want what’s best for him. Pablo is a healthy, beautiful dog that needs room to play and someone with time to spend.

Story
Meet Cal! Cal is an exuberant young boy with plenty of love for the world. He loves making new friends of all types! He's all for it whether they have two, three, or four legs! Cal is often in larger play groups as he knows how to adjust to each dog's personality. He takes corrections well from other dogs and doesn't try to be the boss, he's just happy to be there.  Cal walks well on a leash and is very attentive to his person. He generally prefers to stay close to his people as he doesn't want to miss an opportunity for treats! His loyal and social nature would make him a perfect family dog, he just needs a little help containing his excitement for life!  Cal was the only one in his litter who didn't inherit the signature doberman colors like his siblings Claire and Cruz, but he has the intelligence and people-oriented personality that comes along with the breed. Do you think Cal would be the perfect addition to your family? Call the Ranch to come meet him today!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.    All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       March 5, 2025, 1:22 pm

Story
Meet Claire!  With a heart full of joy and love for all the world has to offer, Claire is ready to retire from shelter life and move into your heart! This lovable young girl is drawn to people like no other. With her incredible eager-to-please attitude and friendly nature, Claire loves socializing and learning new things. She already has good leash manners and prefers sticking close to her people. She  knows how to 'Sit', 'Wait', and with more one on one time she will excel in obedience. Claire has grown up around plenty of other dogs and is an expert in her doggy play groups. She would likely do well in a multi-dog household and would benefit from an older dog showing her the ropes. Claire has also been introduced to children and would likely do well as a family dog. She still needs to learn how to control her excitement for life but in a home environment that should be easy to achieve. Does this incredibly intelligent and loyal girl sound perfect for your family? Call the Ranch to meet her today!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. Story
Meet Toni!  Toni is looking for a loving and understanding home who is willing to take her as the perfectly imperfect girl she is! She spent the first few months of her life surviving alone with her siblings and no motherly figure to help them along. She was brought to us back in November of 2022 and still has not had a single application! Toni is now a full grown girl who has lived the shelter life but she's had enough. It's time this girl knew how it felt to be in a calm and caring home where she can get all the cuddles, day and night. Toni would need an adopter, or even a foster, who is dog savvy and patient enough to work with her through her fears.  Having grown up here at the shelter, Toni does very well with other dogs and would greatly benefit from having a doggy pal or two to show her that the world doesn't have to be scary. Do you think you could provide the home this girl deserves? Call the Ranch to come meet her today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       April 17, 2025, 7:00 pm

Story
Meet Dilly! Dilly is best described as 'goofy' and 'active'. He has long legs that he likes to slap around  and ears that almost disappear  when he gets excited! He has grown up around many different types of dogs and would likely thrive in a multi-dog household. He tends to be a bit on the shy side with new people but with some treats he should warm up in no time! Dilly is an intelligent and treat-motivated dog who is eager to please his people. He knows decent leash manners as well as how to 'Sit' and is learning 'Wait'.  Dilly is part of our 'Riverdale' litter. This litter had and still has little to no interest. Only two out of the entire litter has been adopted and the rest are still in our care. All of them have different looks as well as personalities but all inherited silly personalities.  Call the Ranch to learn more about Dilly today!  Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Shy, gentle Ronnie is looking for a calm, reassuring family where she can continue to gain confidence. Given time to trust, she will blossom into a wonderful companion! Ronnie and her siblings Toni, Reggie, Archie, Dilly, and Midge, all arrived at the Ranch as older puppies, just outside the critical window for puppy socializing. Consequently, it has taken her and her siblings a bit longer to adjust to human company. However, Ronnie has had a great foster experience in a home with lots of other dogs. She knows how to walk on a leash and can sleep in a crate at night. She also knows how to ride in in a car. Give this wonderful dog a little time and patience and she will reward you with unending devotion! Call the Ranch to meet sweet Ronnie today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog.
