Lily, or as her foster mom calls her, Lovey is a soft, sweet and precious girl with loads of love to give and an unmatched attentiveness to her people. The cutest thing about her? She loves to hug! We believe that Lovey is a Doberman, Rottweiler mix, she is a rescue, so her exact lineage cannot be guaranteed. Lily Lovey is estimated to be around 3 years old. Lily is still learning her leash manners, but with a little polishing, she’ll be a pro on leash in no time. She’s food motivated and takes treats gently. With other dogs, Lily is gracious and kind. She’s not jealous when other dogs get attention, she shares love well. She’s not overly playful with other dogs quite yet, but that may change in a home. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
