Story
Say hello to this cute girl, Karoline! Karoline is a 2-year-old, black and tan, cropped (kind of floppy) and docked female. She was found as a stray in the south and made the long trek north with her buddy Klaus. This charming lady has a face that will win your heart! Karoline is dog friendly and afraid of cats. While she does not seem to know any commands, she is eager to please and responds well with positive encouragement. Karoline is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and preventative medications. Story
Ollie wants to play with you…and you! And you! Ollie is a sweet, young red Doberman who is food-motivated, eager to learn, and full of energy! At just 8 months old, he's a high-spirited teen who would thrive in an active home that can provide him with structure, consistent training, and plenty of exercise. He knows basic commands like “sit,” “drop it,” and has pretty good recall for his age. Ollie is very friendly and loves meeting new people—but watch out, he might get so excited that he jumps up to say hello! He doesn’t give kisses, but he’ll show his affection in other enthusiastic ways. Ollie has never marked or had an accident in his pen, and would benefit from crate training to help him settle down after play and learn to enjoy downtime. A physical fence is preferred to help him safely enjoy his zoomies, though depending on the situation, exceptions may be considered. He’s likely best as the only dog in the home and absolutely no cats, small animals, or young children—he’s still learning his manners and needs someone experienced with the breed to guide him. Ollie isn’t suited for a first-time Doberman owner, but if you’re up for the challenge and have the time and patience to continue his training, Ollie will reward you with his fun-loving personality and zest for life! Can you give sweet Ollie a fun, safe, and furever home? He can’t wait to be a part of your family. Story
Dawkins is a stunning one-year-old blue Doberman with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s playful, goofy, and full of life, always ready for a game of fetch, zooming around the yard, or proudly carrying his favorite toy. But behind his fun-loving nature is a dog who desperately needs stability. Dawkins has spent too much of his young life without structure, and he needs a committed home with someone who understands him and can help him thrive. Dawkins is a high-energy dog who struggles with impulse control and needs a structured environment with routine and consistency. He is not a dog that can be given too much freedom too soon and will do best with an experienced Doberman or working-breed owner who understands how to help him succeed. He would do best in a home without young children and needs someone who can read his cues and provide clear guidance. He has enjoyed playing with some dogs, but he does best with careful introductions and would not be a good fit for a home with another dominant male. His adopter must also be willing to continue his training and keep him on his current medication regimen while he continues to progress. Dawkins is affectionate, eager to learn, and full of potential. He deserves a home where he can be set up for success and given the consistency he has never had. There is a good home out there for Dawkins—we just need to find it. If you have the experience, patience, and commitment to give Dawkins the life he deserves, please reach out. Story
Peanut is a big lug who loves to love! He was originally brought in as a stray, then his owners were found…but they just decided to not come back for him. Peanut didn’t understand why, and we certainly never did either. He’s such a fun goofy boy! He LOVES stuffy toys- to the point that he takes one with on every single walk! He enjoys snuggles with people and is good with basic commands. He does love his tubbies, so it’s always a pleasure for bath time with Peanut. He has such cute little nuances too- the way he runs like a funny inch worm…the way he tucks his little butt in when he’s happy. He’s just a lovable goof you have to meet! He does have good dog meets- he would do best with a lady friend. You know- for spaghetti dates!

Story
FOSTER NEEDED —** we would like to bring up Binky from our Tennessee partner but we need a foster first!  Binky - Doberman female - her tail and ears were not altered. She was heartworm positive and has completed treatment and she’s good to go to a new home!    Binky came to us with her 6 puppies when they were 2 days old. She was a protective, attentive momma.  Her owner had come into tough times and had lost her home. She was staying with friends or in her truck with Binky and her male Doberman. Binky had been given to her earlier in the year and she was going to breed her to her male. We placed her puppies several months ago.   Binky is housebroken and crate trained. Likes to hang out on the couch.  She is good with other dogs. Not interested in playing with puppies. Loves to run, play chase, have toys. She often initiates chase and the other dogs can’t catch her. She needs space to run.  She likes to ride in the car and go on walks. She is okay on a lead and will get better with more regular walks.  Loves treats and chews.  Comes when she is called, obeys. Knows her name.  Seems fine with a variety of people.      DOB:  8/15/22 Spayed: 10/3/24     Click this link to apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog Email- Nicole.foreverhomerescue@gmail.com if you can help and have questions about fostering.     April 9, 2025, 7:39 am

Story
Porsche is an 8 month old 60% Doberman, 11% Hound with a reduced adoption fee. Doing well with crate, house, leash training. Very sweet and social. She will need older/bigger kids just because of her playful energy and bigger dogs if any for the same reason. Fence or leash walks are fine for this girl. She has been returned twice, less than a week in each home, due to no fault of her own. We can't mess this up again for her.
