Story
Porsche is an 8 month old 60% Doberman, 11% Hound with a reduced adoption fee. Doing well with crate, house, leash training. Very sweet and social. She will need older/bigger kids just because of her playful energy and bigger dogs if any for the same reason. Fence or leash walks are fine for this girl. She has been returned twice, less than a week in each home, due to no fault of her own. We can't mess this up again for her.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/22/25 Millie is still available for adoption! 1/20/25 Currently located in PA in one of our foster homes. Millie originally can't into rescue a little over a year ago, after a domestic violence situation left her homeless. Her home included a baby and a couple of very young kids which she loved dearly. We specifically wanted a home with kids for her at that time. She was adopted 9-10 months ago, to a family with a 14 yr old son. We were under the impression that everything was going great, until today. We don't know the circumstances, but Millie bit the 14 yr old. It was a very minor bite. No medical attention was needed. But now the son is scared of her and threatening to go live with the other parent if Millie stays in the home. Her adopter says that she has always been tense around the son. We do know that she is more comfortable around women, and she may suffered some abuse from the 'dad' in her original home. Millie is very cuddly and affectionate. She is excellent with other dogs and cats. Please help us keep her out of the shelter. She needs a home, or a foster home, right away. Due to this incident, we would like to see her go to a home with out children. But may be open to a meet n greet with a family that includes, to see how she responds to them. It seems that she likes young kids, and i would assume that if she meets the kids while young, she will be fine with them as they grow into big kids. This will just need to be determined on a case by case basis. Millie has been through a lot in her 4 years of life. She needs an understanding family who will accept her and pay attention to any cues she may give when she's uncomfortable. She is located in PA but we may be able to find a volunteer transport to help her get to other locations. Please share. She is very urgent. email apps.aasr@gmail.com for more info. Story
Hi, my name is Fury! But I'm more like a happy, gentle breeze that wants to have fun! You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Overall, I am a big-hearted dog who wants to go play, be adventurous, have fun with other people and dogs! I am however not such a big fan of car rides, they make my tummy feel sick eww! I love all people and dogs, am a healthy, happy boy and just want to find my home. Let's work together and find it!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Noodle is a spunky velcro pup who is high energy, loves to play, and loves to cuddle during her breaks from play time. Noodle was very polite when introducing herself to the other members of the pack at her foster home, including the goats and pig. She plays really well with the rest of the dogs at her foster home and seems to pick up on boundaries well. She does not mind sharing her space with other dogs. Noodle is currently working on potty training and accepting time away from her foster mom. But who can blame her for being so attached to her foster mom?? She was skinny and scared and all alone on the streets! Noodle will be someone's best friend and she would prefer to have a family that is around home alot, maybe someone who works from home? She won't be like all the OTHER coworkers :) She will let you work in peace and quiet, as long as she is next to you napping :D Adopt this petite girl, she will help make all your dreams come true!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Imani! Imani is a 1 1/2-year-old Doberman-Rottweiler mix with a heart full of potential and love to give. Rescued from a local shelter's euthanasia list nearly a year ago, Imani has blossomed into a lively, affectionate, and active pup who enjoys exploring her boundaries. With clear and consistent communication, she learns quickly and thrives on structure. While Imani can be initially nervous or scared in new places or around unfamiliar noises, she gains confidence with an experienced handler who is willing to invest in her training. With the right guidance, she becomes more confident and will reward you with unwavering trust and respect in your partnership. Imani would do best in a home with another stable dog to show her the ropes and no cats. She isn't the biggest fan of small children but could acclimate to living with older kids if the adults in the home are committed to working with her and advocating for everyone's safety and comfort. If you have the experience, patience, and dedication to help Imani continue her journey, she will undoubtedly become a loyal and loving companion. Could you be the forever home Imani has been waiting for?
