Ziggy is the cutest, happiest boy! Thank goodness for the Good Samaritan who saw him get thrown out of a truck! Can you imagine that that is what someone thought to do?!?! Ziggy LOVES hugs, he desperately wants to feel safe and loved, and then go run around and play fetch and come back for more hugs! Love this boy!!! Look at his adorable “widow’s peak“ hairdo. And those EARS!!!! What great ears he has. If you have TONS of love to share and are looking for a great pup, Ziggy just might be your guy. He is just about a year old, 45 ish pounds, maybe hound, doberman,  shepherd mix, just cute, cute, cute!!! And he is surprisingly heartworm negative! Visit scoutshonor.org for more information on Ziggy! March 23, 2025, 9:35 pm

Meet our gorgeous girl Alli! She is a beautiful, petite Doberman weighing right at 50 pounds. She is just about 2 years old. Alli is incredibly sweet and bonds quickly. And she gets along great with other dogs. Sadly, she is currently heartworm positive but we are working on that and will continue to cover her treatment until she is negative. Story
Meet Madeline! Meet our adorable, quirky little Madeline. We believe she is a dobe mix, but is smaller than most dobes. Madeline is probably 5 years old and weighs right around 50 pounds. She looks like an abstract Doberman,  just a little crooked:) This little girl clearly had a rough beginning. She came to us with very little fur, a nasty skin infection and of course heartworm positive. Her fur is coming back in but she may have some permanent scarring, the infection is gone. Surprisingly, she is heartworm negative Madeline’s hips are a little bit off so she has an awkward, prissy, gait. She likes to run and play but should not be a marathon runner. Supplements and occasional meds are all she needs to keep her happily moving on. Madeline is full of love but does not seem to understand small children so probably best that she go to home with older kids, 10 and up, or an adult only household. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this precious girl please fill out the appropriate application. Scout’s Honor Rescue covers all costs associated with fostering.   Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs March 23, 2025, 9:35 pm

Story
Abby was found along with her sister abandoned in an apartment complex in SW Houston. She is 2 yrs old and weighs around 60lbs when full grown. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has a clean bill of health. The adoption fee is $245 and she comes with all her vet records. Please email us at alr.one.2007@gmail.com for an adoption application. https://youtu.be/otkfLDSImIk
