Remington is active and energetic, loves to play ball, is house and crate trained and walks well on leash. He is very smart, learns quickly and wants to please. Remington is looking for a dog-experienced home that can give him the guidance, training and exercise he needs and craves. He previously has had a bad experience with a trainer and an electric collar and takes some time to trust new people, he now doesn't like his collar grabbed. He likes playing with other dogs, but has to be reminded not to guard his resources, like toys and food. He loves his people but can be rude meeting new people. He walks well on leash and runs nicely next to a bike for exercise. He likes to follow his person throughout the house to make sure he's not missing anything, especially in the kitchen - he loves Ice cubes! As he's a large and somewhat pushy character, he's looking for an large-breed experienced home, with or without a similar sized balanced dog. Meet Madeline! Meet our adorable, quirky little Madeline. We believe she is a dobe mix, but is smaller than most dobes. Madeline is probably 3-4 years old and weighs right around 50 pounds. She looks like an abstract Doberman, just a little crooked:) This little girl clearly had a rough beginning. She came to us with very little fur, a nasty skin infection and of course heartworm positive. Her fur is coming back in but she may have some permanent scarring, the infection is gone. Surprisingly, she is heartworm negative Madeline’s hips are a little bit off so she has an awkward, prissy, gait. She likes to run and play but should not be a marathon runner. Supplements and occasional meds are all she needs to keep her happily moving on. Madeline is full of love but does not seem to understand small children so probably best that she go to home with older kids, 10 and up, or an adult only household. Meet sweet & loving Ingrid! Ingrid was a stray that was living on the streets in Channelview, TX. Ingrid is a Dobie mix with a hint of chow chow noting her spotted purple tongue. Ingrid is about 70lbs, fully vacinated, spayed, and microchipped. She loves to lounge on her favorite couch by the pool but won't miss a beat when she is able to spend time with her humans.
