Story
Ranger is an amazing dog and will easily be someone's best friend for life. He is kind, sweet, and loves affection. He understands basic commands like sit and "crate" to go into his crate at night. He does well with other dogs; it's unknown how he is with cats as he has not been exposed to them. He is one of the best dogs I've ever had with such a loving temperament. The only reason we are choosing to re-home is because we have a young child and Ranger has a strong herding instinct. He tries to herd our child and has nipped while doing so. This has never been done out of aggression but out of instinct to herd--he has never broken the skin and has never done this with older children or adults. He would be great with a family that has older or no children and would love life if he had animals to herd or an active family he could enjoy playing with and lots of love--he really deserves it.

Story
At the end of December 2023, my brother in law had a friend who discovered an abandoned litter of puppies and Goose was one of them. My BIL always wanted a dog but lived in an apartment that does not allow dogs, so he asked my wife and I to foster him until he moved into a place that allowed dogs. This started out fine but then quickly it became evident that he no longer wanted the dog and stopped visiting him, which left the burden of raising a very energetic dog on my own. He is very sweet and playful but he needs almost constant attention and play time, which I cannot provide between raising my kids and working a full time job. He is not mean to other dogs but he is less than a year old and has a hard time with personal space. He has completed the beginner training classes offered by pet smart and knows that he has to potty outside. He is a good dog but I cannot provide him the time and attention he deserves.
