Story
Meet Ned. He's is a sweet loving boy. He has a very goofy personality, he's a cuddler in the winter. Will follow you where ever you go in the house. He loves to be with his humans and He loves to play, tug of war is his favorite, he becomes very vocal and growls while playing. He tends to play a little rough the more excited he gets. He will get the zoomies when he's very excited. He loves going for walks(he's a puller), he loves going on car rides, jumps in the vehicle no problem. He knows his basic commands sit stay leave it and down. He also knows how to shake a paw, fist bump(nose bump), speak and whisper (often gets them mixed up and has to think about it first). He's crate trained, and house trained. He does have anxiety when it comes to loud noises, they freak him right out especially thunderstorms. He becomes very fearful. He might do well with some training I'm unfortunately unable to provide that for him.

Story
Hi, I’m Bella, and my journey has been quite a ride. In July 2022, I was found in pretty rough shape—neglected, abused, and beaten. Thanks to the incredible response from EARS and my foster home, I started to heal and even thought I’d found my forever home shortly after. Unfortunately, after I was adopted, I was moved from place to place and ended up abandoned, injured and in need of rescue once again. Mid-April 2024, I was saved by EARS and returned to a foster home. With the love and care I’ve received, I’m making great strides in my physical and mental health. Under the gentle care of my current temporary foster, I’ve blossomed into a vibrant and playful 2 year-old pup. At a lean 65 pounds, I’m energetic and love long walks and runs. I’m starting to show my true colours, engaging warmly with my foster family and displaying a strong sense of loyalty. While I may still be hesitant around new people, especially the veterinary staff, I’m slowly gaining confidence and learning to trust. Unfortunately my time with my temporary foster family came to an end and I find myself at a boarding kennel. I’m now looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt family who can offer a nurturing environment where I can acclimate to new experiences and people at my own pace. If you have a loving home and the patience to help me continue my transformation, I’d love to meet you and show you just how special I can be.

Story
Hi there! I’m Willow, an energetic and playful 3-year-old pup who adores my furry housemates. Whether they're cats or dogs, I get along with everyone! My favourite things are romping at the off-leash park, splashing in the river, and then snuggling up for movie time at home. I'm super food-motivated, which makes training a breeze—I’ve got a great recall and love learning new things. However, I’m not fond of on-leash meetings with other dogs; I prefer to make new friends off-leash. I’ve been with EARS since I was just 5 months old and am currently fostered in a home with lots of dogs and cats. While I’m great with other animals, I can be a bit nervous and wary around senior men, so I’d thrive best in a home with experience handling nervous dogs and where there are other pets to keep me company. If you’re active and have a playful pup or two already, I might be the perfect addition to your family! (Foster Location: Edmonton)

Story
Hi friends! My name is Sadie, a 3-year-old pup, and my foster paw-rents say I’m the sweetest girl ever! I’m all about spending time with humans, and cuddles and belly rubs are my absolute favourite. I also love toys—especially tossing them in the air and chasing after them like it’s the best game ever! Walks make me so happy, and I’ve worked hard to learn that leashes aren’t for pulling. Fun fact: I’m part of the Tripawd club after an accident from my life before EARS, but don’t worry! It doesn’t slow me down, though I get tuckered out faster. I adore little humans and sometimes get excited around them. As for cats? Well, they’re super interesting, and I have a hard time resisting the urge to chase them—so we might not be the best housemates. Regarding other dogs, I need time to warm up and prefer having my own space for eating and enjoying treats. I’d love to find a fur-ever home with kids to love and maybe even a medium or large-sized dog to play with. Just no small woofers, please! Oh, and I recently had my first stay at a kennel, and the lady there said I did amazing. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and cuddly girl, I’m definitely your gal!

Story
Hey there! I’m Kingston, a big-hearted 3-year-old dog looking for my forever home (or a foster home until the right people find me). EARS saved me along with 16 others I used to live with from a bad and crowded situation, and I’m the only one left who doesn’t have a family to call my own. I’m not a fan of small dogs or cats, but I do love kids around the age 10 and up—those littler humans have way too much energy for me! I would thrive in an experienced home where my reactivity can be managed with care and patience. I absolutely adore long walks, car rides, and cooling off with a swim. Flirt poles and squeaky toys? Yes, please! I also enjoy a tasty pupsicle after a fun day of play. I need space to roam, so a country home or acreage would be my dream. I’m super trainable and love a good challenge, especially when it comes to my food—I eat from a slow feeder to keep me engaged. If you’re ready to share your heart and home with a loyal companion, I’m the guy for you.

Story
Hi, I’m Prue! I’m a 2-year-old female, a mix of German Shepherd and Ovcharka, and I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever home. I’ve got a medium energy level, which means I love to play, run around the yard, chew on toys, and especially play fetch. I’m excellent on a leash, and I’ve learned many tricks like touch, recall, and “leave it.” I used to be a little unsure around other dogs, but thanks to my training at AmyZ Style Dog Training, I’ve gained confidence, and now I’m a friendly, playful companion. I’ve been around dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs, goats, and even chickens—so I fit right into farm life! I’ve been in EARS care since I was just 5 months old, so I’d love to find a home where I can finally settle down, preferably on some acreage to run around and enjoy the outdoors. I’d do great as the only dog or with the right furry buddy, and I’m great with older kids who know how to respect my space. I adore swimming, raised dog beds, and keeping entertained with my favourite toy—balls! If you’re looking for a trainable, adventurous, and loyal companion to follow you around, I’m your girl. Let’s make some memories together! 🐾💕
