My name is Arnie and I'm your typical rottie: big, goofy, happy, a little stubborn, smart, drooly and pushy. I love food, people, playing, and snuggling. I walk nicely on a leash, don't jump up, and rarely bark. I'd prefer to have all the attention and all the food... all the time. I'm not a fan of weather. Hot, cold, wet, & wind all make me want to find a quiet corner and snooze. I don't bark unless I'm scared but I'm getting braver and more secure every day. I was abandoned in a most cruel manner, so I get very worried when my foster mom leaves. I'm getting used to loud noises, but sudden movement or motions scare me, so I don't think I'm ready for kids. I get a little pushy around new dogs, I want them to know I'm not going to be picked on and I prefer to make the rules. Once I'm familiar and know I'm not going to be attacked, I love to play, wrestle and chase. Likes: Food, people, air conditioning/fan, car rides, walks, bones, toysDislikes: Being left aloneSpecial Requests: Until I'm sure you'll come back, I require someone who's always with me. I also need to regain my muscle & gain weight, so someone willing to play tug & other strength-building games would be perfect. Name : Jade Age : 12 months old Breed : Shepherd mix Good with dogs : Yes Good with cats : yes Sweet and playful Jade, eager to learn and is coming along in her training. She knows the basics like sit, come, paw, stay, lay down and takes her treats very gently. We are still working on down and leave/drop it. Jade does not like being in the crate and has not shown any destructive behaviours when left alone in the house. Jade loves walks so much that she will take the leash in her mouth and walk herself. She does best when she has some slack while on leash as she enjoys being able to stop and smell the roses. She enjoys playing with her toys and belly rubs but most of all she loves being with her people. She also enjoys car rides!
