NaNa was rescued from an illegal dog breeder and slaughterhouse in July 22, 2024 in Lin'An, China. As Rottweilers are banned in many cities in China, we sought to fly NaNa overseas to find him a forever home. Like most Rottweilers, NaNa does require a more experienced owner but very gentle with humans. Having been confined to a cage for most of his life, we can see the sadness in his eyes. From the little time that our volunteers have spent with NaNa, they all say what a big teddy bear he is. However, we do recommend that he goes to a family with no other male dogs and no small dogs or cats. Now with the help of a flight volunteer, NaNa will be flying to Calgary, Alberta mid-May and staying with a foster family until he founds his forever home. If you are interested in NaNa, please email us for more info! *Note we do not require an adoption fee but adopter will need to pay for NaNa's flight ticket and document fees. We can show proof of all receipts.*
