I am a long-term dog resident here at the Champaign County Humane Society! What does that mean? It means I have been available for adoption for over 90 days and am more than ready to find my forever home! In fact, the shelter is waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Introducing the stunning Raven, a little lady who had a bumpy start in life but now she's looking for a new home sweet home! Her first year was spent locked up in a kennel, but luckily, she found a home that promised her a better life. With her high energy levels, Raven's a real firecracker, but her previous owner wasn't quite ready for her rambunctious antics. Raven needs a patient family that can teach her some manners and help her burn off all that energy! She's not too keen on other pups, so she's looking for a home where she can be the star of the show. This girl loves to soak up all your love and cuddles. So, if you're looking for a furry friend to light up your life, please swing by the shelter to meet Raven! Raven is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! Here's what animal care staff member, Roe, has to say about her: Raven is one of my best buds! This is her second time with us through no fault of her own, and she made the move to the new building with us last year so we've all gotten the opportunity to get to know her very well. She's enthusiastic about doing anything for treats, and very smart about getting them. She loves neck rubs and will happily sit next to you and people watch while you pet her. Raven is very playful and silly, loves to play fetch outside and wiggle around in the grass on her back. Snow is also one of her favorite things-we have a hard time convincing her to come back inside, she'd rather just jump around and eat the snow! She'd love to be your only pet and get ALL your love, so if you have room in your life for a little princess, come and meet Raven!!

Nala is a 1-year-old female pit mix available for adoption at CCHS! Nala was relinquished to us in unfortunate circumstances and was a momma. Nala did well with older children who lived in her previous home, but she must be the only pet in the home because she's more of a "people dog." Nala would be a great addition to an active family, as she is constantly moving herself. She also enjoys snuggling with her people, and has a favorite stuffed monkey toy. Nala would also do well with a patient home who can work with her to keep her enriched and stimulated. Nala is also on a prescription diet for urinary care. Come meet this fantastic girl at CCHS!

Bella came to us when her previous owner was no longer able to care to her due to illness in the family. Bella is here with us now, and waiting as patiently as she can for a new forever home! Bella is a very sweet girl who is always happy and wiggly when she gets to be with friends. Her previous owners described her as protective of them and very family-oriented. She would love to be the only dog in her new home, as other dogs can make her nervous sometimes. Come look into Bella's beautiful, soulful eyes and fill out an application for this great girl at CCHS!

This cutie pie landed in our care due to unforeseen circumstances but is all set to shower love on her new family. Maisy is a total sweetheart, and adores kids of all ages. While she is not the best about making friends with other dogs, and would prefer to be the only dog in the home, her opinion on cats remains a mystery. She's very much up for endless games of fetch and leisurely strolls. Picture winding down the day with Maisy by your side, ready for a cozy snuggle on the sofa.
