My husband brought home JoJo as a puppy. He loved Great Danes and thought our family needed another dog. Unfortunately my husband passed away in July and I have had to downsize incredibly. My husband had a soft spot for furry friends and we had been on the fostering list for the KHS too. At the time of his passing, we had 8 dogs. Too many dogs to bring to my new home that will be in a neighborhood versus the country. JoJo is a gently giant. If she could sit on your lap, she would. She loves to carry around her "babies"(stuffed animals), a good run, and snuggles. She is housebroken and obviously she has been around dogs and cats. I want a great home for her to honor my husband's memory.

Story

We acquired Alaska from the KHS as we fostered her. Her early life was definitely heart breaking. She was found starving, locked in a kennel that was thrown in a dumpster. The staff at KHS wasn't sure if she would make it. We were able to help this poor dog gain weight and give her a safe and loving home. My husband had signed us up for fostering. Unfortunately my husband passed away in July and we were left with two dogs that we were fostering and trying to find good homes for them. I need to find her a home nSow since I have had to downsize greatly. Alaska is about 2 year old. She needs a home that she will get cuddles and love. Though starved, she has no food aggression. In fact she has a hard time focusing on one food bowl. We have 8 dogs currently and when its dinnertime I put the bowls down and she bounces from bowl to bowl until she finally begins eating.
