Story

Joplin loves other dogs but likes to play rough. He takes correction well and has been to doggy daycare. When it comes to kids, he can be kinda rough when excited so maybe not small children. He will steal food from kids if the opportunity presents itself. Joplin is potty trained and goes into his kennel easily. He is a people please and listens when you say "no. He knows commands sit, down, kennel, shake, and spin. Joplin has come pretty far with his indoor manners. He hasn't had an accident inside in months, hasn't chewed any shoes lately, not generally destructive indoors. I buy him large beef cheek rolls to chew on because smaller chews do not last very long lol. He is a very active dog and can be obsessive over things like the squirrels and birds in the backyard. I have a 6 foot privacy fence that he used to try to dig under but has not lately. He still digs holes in the yard if not watched though, he loves to dig! He really likes to hang out in the yard no matter the weather. Joplin is kind of hard to walk as he gets distracted by anything that moves and will cross in front of and behind you. Its better to walk him on a quieter path, not near traffic and loads of people. He is extremely friendly but does get spooked by unexpected things on walks, will bark and put up hackles. When he's excited, his manners go out the window. He will start jumping on people and sometimes will get your hand instead of the toy if playing. When we wind down for the night, Joplin loves to cuddle. He has no boundaries and wants to be in your lap or sleeping as close to you as possible. Definitely likes the company of other dogs around the house. He's a pretty big sweetie in general, not at all aggressive. I think he would appreciate a home with more activity than mine (more people to play with and also a dog that likes to play)

Roxie, this little lady is always so happy it just makes you feel happy yourself. She loves chew toys, running in the yard and snuggling. She is crate trained and good around other dogs. I believe she would be happy in a home with or without dogs. She likes to sleep against your side and sometimes likes to be under the covers. She enjoys the small pool and just hanging out with her family. She rides great in the car but is not a fan of fireworks. She is just an all round sweetheart.

This beautiful girl is Dolly! Dolly is super sweet and very timid, especially with men. Once she warms up to you, she really shows her silly side! She takes the label of BFF to heart. She loves a solid zoomie session outside and can shred a stuffie like it's her job. Dolly's motto is play hard, nap harder. Our girl is your basic house hippo! She can walk really well on a leash, but she does tend to pull if she gets spooked and wants to go back home. She takes treats gently and gives the best soft and slobbery kisses! Dolly has shown some guarding issues that have been manageable with guidance and structure. She will need a strong and patient leader to help her through her fear and guarding tendencies! She responds best to stern but gentle corrections. She's a very good girl that just wants to please and make her humans happy! Dolly is currently in boarding and is looking for a foster or forever home. Someone give this perfect girl a comfy home of her own!

Meet Corriander! Foster mom also calls me Corrie, Corrie Ann, Princess Pea Pod and Madam Magic Ears Do you have any treats? I LOOOVE treats! Ya got a big fluffy People bed for us to snuggle in? I love those too! My brother Cayden (got dopted already) and me came into Beauties care as babies because we had something wrong with our baby bones, but I’m all good now and ready for my forever home. I’m kind of shy with new people, but warm up quickly once I realize that there is no stranger danger. I’m potty and crate trained, have fabulous ears and apparently Queen of the Side Eye. I LOVE kissing other dogs (much to their dismay), scratches on the top of my head, tearing up fluffy squeakies and balls, and I’m pretty good at patrolling the perimeter and making friends with the squirrels. They fascinate me so much! I don’t chew on things that I’m not supposed to, and I’m not too nosy so I won’t be into any of your stuff……..unless it squeaks or is food. Give me a toy or a bone and I can entertain myself pretty easily, but if you want to play, I’m up for it! Do you want to play with me forever? Foster Mom here. Corrie Ann and her brother had Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy as puppies. She was having one episode when she was brought into care, and one more after a set of vaccines. For this reason, she cannot have any Leptospirosis vaccines in the future. She has been raised with 5 other dogs in the home and her only issue is her kissing them and invading their space with her love. Corrie is a healthy, happy girl looking for her forever family to really help her blossom. Is it you?

Sweet Pea, Garbanzo and Cannellini had been roaming for a few days. They were all scared and made quite the scene when our team arrived but with a little skill and patience, all 3 quickly calmed down. This guy is ready to bust out of boarding into a foster or forever home!!! He's sweet as pie and a little on the shy side. He loves pets, especially belly Rubs! He is big dog friendly and kid friendly and will be cat tested coming up. He was very well behaved at the vet office and rides great in the car. Garbanzo is all about chilling in the grass on a nice day rather than going for long walks. He does have some traits of bad breeding, such as an adorably huge over bite, so may end up with some medical problems down the road or could be a happy healthy dog for the next how ever many years.
