Polly is the most polite little girl. She is crate trained and will wait inside her crate for you to let her out. She sits for treats and is working on other commands including the ability to spin. She is potty trained, good on a leash, spayed, vaccinated, and loves attention. She is more than happy to keep you warm on a cold winter night in bed. The best thing is her smile when she is happy playing and being loved. Yes she literally smiles with her front teeth. She would definitely make a good bird dog as she is very attentive to the bird sounds and movements in the yard. Polly needs some more weight added to her beautiful figure and is slowly working on that in her current foster care. She appears to have been through quite a bit in her life on the streets of Texas and has relocated here to find her forever home. We've done all the medical care for Polly all you need to do is supply the warm bed (she would love to share yours) and love.

Meet Val. She is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix approximately 3 yrs old. This sweetheart has been in foster care for 9 months. In that time she has under gone treatment for heartworms. Completed HW tx in August and due to be retested in May 2024. Prior to July 24 when she was given a Proheart 6 injection heartworm preventative, she was on a monthly topical preventative since April 2023. Val is UTD on vaccines including rabies. She had her spay procedure 11/18 at was tested at that time for heartworms. Hoorah! she tested negative. This girl is wonderful with people and other dogs. She would be a great addition to your family. A meet and greet can be arranged. To any rescues out there, if this girl would fit the requirements for someone looking to adopt, we will go to the ends of the earth to bring them together.

Holy Cow guys.......this dog! I can't love her enough........this one was hard to drive off without. Hard to leave such a loving and gentle dog behind in those kennels.......especially one who was used to living inside with a family who loved her. Coco (mother to Baby Bella) was surrendered to our shelter. The owner moved to Mamou, but the landlord did not allow dogs. Coco was an inside dog, she's very well house trained, and shes unbelievably sweet. She's quiet, gentle, and loving.......I was melting over this girl. She's so calm and wants nothing more than to sneak into a lap and snuggle……the perfect thing for a small pocket pit to do. (video attached) Coco is 33 lbs, and approximately 3 years old.
