Story
Finnegan was taken away from his mom at a very young age and given to a very nice lady. Even though she loved him, they didn’t have a home, so the two of them traveled by bicycle and Finn spent most of his time in a backpack. She asked us to help and we quickly discovered he had contracted parvovirus but miraculously, he survived ! This is a beautiful puppy, with a blue coat and a touch of brindle, his eyes are blue, but not crystal blue. He currently (June 12) weighs 11 lbs. Finnegan is your typical tail-wagging puppy. He’s super sweet, loves other dogs, and is super smart. With the right owner and all of these qualities the sky’s the limit to what he can become. For now, this is a puppy who needs to be taught good manners, but he can learn really fast: I taught him to sit to get a treat... and now he sits all the time on his own to indicate he is hungry! He would currently probably be too active to have a young child around, but he will calm down! Like all puppies, he needs to be occupied with toys or activities, otherwise he may chew on the furniture a little... just a little! He is not completely house trained... but getting close! He snores... very loudly, and barks at my cats to play with them. He also wants to play with the 8 year-old family dog... but neither the cats nor the dog show any desire to play with him. This beautiful, active, little dog is waiting for a new home, and will make a great companion dog! *** If you'd like to make this pet part of your family, please fill out an online application today: https://form.jotform.com/211746872887169 *** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Would you like to help us with the financial cost of the pets in our care? They say I am a sweet and silly girl; I can be a bundle of fun with a happy tail. I know sit, down and come. I am eager to please, so I learn quickly. My 3 favorite past times are snuggling with my special person, taking walks and taking naps. I even get along well with cats. I am crate-trained, and house broken. If you have room in your heart and family for a silly bundle of love, please ask about me today. My new owners must understand how to be a good consistent pack leader.
