Story
Bruce is a big cuddle bug that just wants love! He's loves to lick the cats and play with the dog in his foster home. Bruce's training is going well. His recall is constantly improving, and he responds well to basic commands but still gets very excited when his foster family comes home after being away. His leash skills are coming along, and he walks great with a gentle leader harness. Bruce LOVES the water, enjoys playing both fetch and tug o'war. Inside the house Bruce just wants to be by his people! He knows what 'down' means, but will take any chances to cuddle up on the couch! He sleeps in a kennel at night but needs someone who is willing to work on his separation anxiety when left alone. He would do best as an indoor/outdoor dog, (LOVES being outside)or with someone who is working from home.

Story
Berry is a 45lb, Chow/Shepherd mix. (even though all his fur makes him look heavier than he really is!) He is a quiet, easy going boy. He absolutely loves being scratched and brushed. He can be a little jumpy with loud noises and sudden movements. A little encouragement and reassurance help him through. He really enjoys being outside even in winter sniffing everything out and rolling in the snow. He can get a little over excited on walks when he sees other dogs or small animals and is learning to stay calm and patient. He loves playing with balls and will chase and pounce on them. He's for the most part good about being kenneled. He just needs some motivation to go in but once in he'll settle down. Berry would prefer to be an only pet as he can be dog selective. He has lived with dogs in a previous foster home, but they would need to have a calm personality as Berry can get overstimulated and doesn't quite understand how to play. When Berry came into rescue, he tested positive for lyme, anaplasmosis and heartworm disease. He has finished all this treatments and is looking for his forever home! Berry loves every person he meets and will become your mini shadow. He is a real sweetie!

Story
Katie is a very smart, young dog! (46 lbs) She is eager to learn and knows sit, lay down and shake-a-paw. She plays very well with the dog in her foster home and snuggles with the cats. Sometimes she chases the cats when they run off, but she is easily called back. Katie knows how to use her voice and has even sung along with passing sirens. She loves to snuggle and be wherever you are. She is kennel trained but also does well loose in the house. Katie is a very sweet girl, and is looking for a family that can help build her confidence, as sometimes she gets nervous in new situations.

Story
Mikey is by far the most loving dog. He loves all people he meets, the cats and dog in his foster home. He is learning what it's like to be loved. And cherishes snuggles and pets. He is accustomed to sleeping in a crate at night and taking naps in his crate when his foster family goes out. At first squeak toys scared him but now they're one of his favourite things!
