Story
We have a terrier of some type that was dumped in our neighborhood last year. First we took him to the local shelter but there were no takers so we took him back before he was about to be put down. But we only have a tiny yard that he can escape from when he goes out to potty and it's getting to be a problem with our neighbors. We need to find a better place for him somehow. He's extremely smart and we also got him free of heartworms. He's great with other dogs and cats. He's 65 lbs. and approx. 3 years old we think. Jack Boothe (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
UPDATE: Melodie now has four little brothers and one little sister. She plays very gently with them and they love her! She has her shots and has been microchipped and spayed. This puppy and her pregnant mama were dumped close to my house two weeks ago. She is super sweet and playful and has not shown any aggression. She is so lovable and craves attention and loves belly rubs. She does bark at my barn cats.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Simon is available for adoption! ===================== Meet the ERU Puppies!  MIKI, FINN, SIMON, AND KODA of CENTRAL FLORIDA! These 4 adorable little boys are sweet, sweet, sweet!  They love everything and everyone!  They're being fostered in east Central Florida, and are still in training to learn what every puppy should know.  They're being socialized, learning to walk on a leash, how to swim, and learning basic manners.   They will be available for adoption once their vetting and training is complete. We think they're miniature-size Eskies, but it's possible that they could grow up to be small standards.  If you're interested in adopting one of these babies, please complete and submit our online Adoption Application (LINK IS BELOW). If you've recently completed an adoption application, please comment on this post or send an email to:  Cheryl@eskierescuers.org Their foster mom knows these puppies well, and can help match you up with the puppy that she thinks may best fit your lifestyle.  The ERU Adoption Application can be found at this link: https://www.eskierescuers.org/info/adoption  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!                                                       July 8, 2024, 9:53 pm

Story
Looking for a beautiful dog? How about a smart dog with lots of energy for walks, hikes and play? You’re in luck: Bandit has it all. Besides being gorgeous, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and receiving preventative. He’s still young, and has puppy energy (yes, that means lots of toys to keep him busy, besides an organized plan to make sure he gets plenty of exercise.). He’s smart, affectionate, and loves attention. He responds well to positive training methods and learns fast. He does not do well with cats, but loves people of all sizes.
