Story
Olive came into a shelter down south pregnant and heartworm positive. She was fostered until her babies were born and weaned. Her babies were then transported to a rescue. For whatever reason, Olive didn't get to go with her babies and was taken back to the shelter where she wound up on the EU list. Chewy’s Hope fostered her, and she is a senior girl ready for a quiet retirement. She would do best as an only and with older kids. But whoever adopts her will have a great companion and lovely girl.

Story
Pippa is an Australian shepherd/lab mix. She is approximately eight years old, but she has the energy of 5 or 6. She is a people dog; she is happy to be outdoors with you and loves a ride in the car, but she would rather be inside with you than outside without you. Pippa is great with cats and would be ideal for her to be a companion dog to a person or people who are retired or work from home. She is just as sweet and loving as she looks! She is in great health and has a lot of love to give to the right home.

Story
This dear puppy needs a forever home. Friends of ours found her roaming the streets in Dallas. She has a chip, but no name tied to it. She was posted on social media trying to find her owners. Nobody came forward. She was about to go to the pound. We didn't have the heart to allow this to happen. She is a sweet dog. She is potty trained and gets along great with other dogs and very friendly. We just cannot keep her. We already have 3 dogs. Her name is Kiba. She appears to be a pure bread Huskey about 6 months old. We are just trying to find her a good home.

Mutt Australian Cattle Dog

Male, Puppy
Alvord, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mother was dumped in the country, so we adopted one of the puppies. We didn’t realize he is a herding breed until behavior of nipping our other dogs would not stop. He is a loving boy who just needs to channel that energy to a job like herding cattle. He needs room to run on a daily basis and really enjoys mental games. He is very energetic and then enjoys a good nap. We have been doing scent work (very simple), but he thoroughly enjoys it. He will be very loyal and a good guard dog. He is extremely smart with an independent streak, but he watches you constantly to see how to get your attention. He has some German Shepherd possibly, but his behavior is Australian Cattle Dog. His mother was black too and could have been 50lbs if fed properly. He is up to date with shots.
