Story
Hello, I'm Hades. I'm a pretty mellow guy, but don't let that fool you. I've got a curious mind and a heart full of love. I'm fiercely independent, but I'll always be by your side when you need me. I'm quite the character, always up to something funny to make you smile. My sweet nature makes me a great companion. I'm loyal to those I love, and I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all my wonderful qualities. Adopting me will bring joy, laughter, and a loyal friend into your life. I would do best in a home as the only cat.

Story
Fluffy is one of 6 cats who joined us due to unexpectedly losing their loving furmommy. Starz, Fluffy, Samir, and Wu have been together for years, but Macho and Tangie are our two newcomers, community cats picked up off the street in one of the last acts of kindness their mom would gift to the vulnerable in her community. In the midst of caring for their sister in the ICU and grieving her inevitable and looming passing, these cats' fur mama's siblings made the time to come to our facility in hopes of finding placement for them. With a limited amount of time to do so, we were thankfully able to move some animals around and open up enough spots for these cats to stick together in this time of transition. Her siblings thanked us for helping them to honor her memory and even sent us some information about the cats' late mother. They wanted people to know that through her work writing articles for the newspaper as well as in her personal time, her priority was always awareness for those who are vulnerable and less fortunate. Their hope, and ours as well, is to adopt these cats out in pairs out of respect for their situation and the family they lost that loved them so much. Our "old lady" of the group, Fluffy also has the (uncertain honor) of being the largest! This longhaired lady is a gorgeous tabby with rich shades of brown in her coat. She was more than likely the first and longest stay with her mom, and having grown up in a 1-human household is having a difficult time adjusting to having multiple caregivers and visitors. Although she is frightened and prefers to stay holed up in a corner of her condo, Fluffy is never mean or vengeful, quietly accepting pets from people she doesn't know or trust. Fluffy is closest with Wu, Starz, and Samir.

Story
Lottie is an adorable black cat with a bewitching, thick dark coat and mane. She was found as a stray, and the family that discovered her made sure she was vaccinated and spayed. However, due to her deep hatred of the family cat, they sought out alternate placement for her which is why she found her way here! Lottie is talkative and has a meow that sounds intimidating. She can be cranky, especially in the cacophony of shelter noises and chaos that constantly bombard her preferred peaceful existence. However, when let out of her kennel in an empty room, she's surprised everyone with how silly and sweet she is. We aren't discounting her potential ability to assimilate into a home with other pets. However, from what we've observed ourselves as well as what we were told, Lottie may need to be a solo gal!
