Story
Penny is a queen in both attitude and personality! With a bold and confident demeanor, she loves being the center of attention and has no hesitation in speaking her mind. Whether it's during her lively mealtimes or simply because she wants some love, Penny is always ready to engage in a conversation. Her absolute favorite thing in the world is getting brushed — just pick up the brush, and she’ll saunter right over, ready for her pampering session. Penny is incredibly active and loves to play with laser pointers and small mouse plushies. When she has a mouse in her mouth, she’ll proudly carry it around while continuing to chat away, bringing it straight to her human for some much-needed praise. She’s at her most energetic midday and evening, after the sun leaves her favorite spot, though her back legs can sometimes wobble a bit, but that never slows her down. Though not a lap cat, Penny enjoys cozying up by your legs when you're lying down and loves sticking close to people, always hanging around in rooms where there's activity. Penny has no problem cohabitating with other cats and doesn’t mind sharing toys or food. However, she can get a little jealous if the other cat gets more attention than her. Likes: Brushing sessions, mealtime conversations, cuddling at your feet Dislikes: Being ignored during playtime, too much quiet time

Story
Hi, I’m Birdie! I’m a pretty mellow and sweet cat who loves being brushed and petted—my fur is so soft, and I enjoy the attention. I’m not overly clingy, but I do enjoy my fair share of love, and I especially love playing with toys, like feathers on a string. I have a soft little meow that sounds a bit like a bird, and I’ll come right up to you, purring, hoping for pets. When it’s time to get up in the morning, I’ll nibble your fingers a bit to help you wake up—just a little reminder to start the day! I’m not a picky eater, and I don’t have any litterbox issues. I do love fresh water, though, so I’d probably enjoy a water fountain in my new home. If you keep up with brushing me every now and then, I won’t get hairballs, but I don’t get matted if I miss a session either. I’m pretty self-maintained, all things considered. I’m a very chill cat. During the day, I like to sleep on the bed with my brother Bogie, and we enjoy playing together in the evenings. I also love a treat of rotisserie chicken or paste tubes like Churu. I’m really good about taking pills, especially when they’re tucked in a pill pocket with a bit of Churu—I might pout for a bit afterward, but I’ll forgive you pretty quickly! I’m not super shy around new people. I might hide initially, but I’ll come out eventually to check out what’s going on. I have a very friendly demeanor, though I do like to nibble and use my claws while playing, so I’d be best in a home with older kids who understand my playstyle. Oh, and while I don’t like getting put in a carrier, I ride pretty well in the car!

Story
Hi, I’m Bogie! I’m a goofy, laid-back guy with a medium-length orange tabby coat and a love for the simple things in life—especially being brushed. Seriously, it’s my favorite activity. The moment you start petting or scritching me, I’ll flop right over in bliss. I even like rougher love, like scritches and back pats. Just watch your fingers—I do like to nibble, especially in the morning when it’s time to get up! My sister Birdie and I are always the first to jump on the bed after the alarm goes off, purring and looking for attention. You might notice I’m missing one eye, but don’t worry—I don’t miss it at all. When I was first trapped as a feral kitten, I had a bad ulcer on my left eye. Since eye drops weren’t an option, it was removed when I got neutered. Honestly, I’m better off without it, and I’ve never let it slow me down! I’m a pretty chill cat overall. I love attention, but I don’t need to be the center of it. Most of the day, I’m happy lounging on the bed, couch, or a fuzzy blanket. If you sit on the floor, though, I’ll always come over to see if you’ll brush or pet me. I also love batting around mouse toys for hours when the mood strikes. Brushing is a must for me—my fur is just a little thicker than Birdie’s, and I get hairballs sometimes. Luckily, I adore being brushed, so it’s a win-win. Treat pastes like Churu are also a favorite, but I can get a little suspicious if I think you’re sneaking me a pill. If you do have to give me one, I’ll forgive you as long as it’s in a pill pocket with Churu… though I might pout for a few hours after.

Story
Hi, I’m Cheesepuff! I’m sweet, fluffy, and full of personality. One of my favorite things to do is run past you and then lean into you for pets—it’s my special way of saying hello! Sometimes, I’ll give your fingers a little nibble, but don’t worry, I’m always gentle. At night, I like to sleep on the bed, either next to you or snuggled up with one of the dogs (as long as they’re friendly, of course). During the day, I don’t pay them much mind, but at bedtime, I don’t mind sharing the space. When morning light starts creeping in, I’ll wander around a bit, but the moment I hear your bedside alarm go off, I’ll jump up to help make sure you’re awake—because what better way to start the day than with me? If you have a fuzzy blanket on your lap, that’s my cue to hop up and settle in for some pets and attention. Otherwise, I’m happy to lounge nearby on the couch while you watch TV. My coat is super soft, and I actually enjoy being brushed—it keeps me looking and feeling my best! I also get along great with other cats and am totally fine with dogs, big or small, as long as they’re cat-friendly.
