Story
Meet Sennelier! This sweet long haired tabby came to the Shelter as a stray with her littermates. Her littermates have been adopted. Thankfully Sennelier has a wonderful foster parent who offerred to take her in so she could gain some confident and socialization with the world around her. The foster reports: `She`s doing well and getting braver every day. She still greets us with a hiss pretty much every time she sees us- it`s like she forgets who we are until we start petting her, then immediately she starts purring and cuddling, very affectionate. Despite the hiss, she has never attempted to strike, claw or bite us. She will come sit on our laps on her own sometimes; and she started playing last night with toys with vigor.` If you are looking for a BFF of a kitten to blossom in your home, come into the Shelter to set up a meet and greet with Sennelier today.

Story
Crepe & Omelet are a bonded pair, and will call for each other when separated. Neither enjoys being picked up and both prefer that human touch happen on their terms. Both accept pets when they are in a safe spot. They have been exposed to cat friendly dog, men, women, and older children in foster. Crepe is still very skittish, but learning to enjoy occasional human touch and play. He loves to look out the window, but prefers not to be observed himself and will hide when he sees you see him. Handling note - He will tolerate brief holding but will struggle to get free if held too long.Omelet reports for duty as soon as the food served, snuggles (or pounces on feet) after dark when he thinks the humans are asleep, and will usually come out from under the bed to play with a toy on a string. He likes to watch people when he does not think they are watching him. Omelet will often look for pets and will even let himself be picked up as long as the petting continues. He accepted having his eye medicated pretty well without picking up. We provided an accessible hiding place in bathroom to make it easy. If you are looking for a pair of BFF kittens to snuggle up with, come meet Omelet and Crepe today.
