Story
Mandy is the star of the show. She wants all your attention, even if she sometimes has a funny way of showing it. She may start out shy, but once she warms up to you, you are the only one she’ll want. Here’s what her foster family has to say: Mandy is doing great. She sleeps with me now and is actually quite the social cat. She wants to be around her human even if the human is cleaning the bathroom while she watches from inside the tub. She loves being brushed and given belly rubs. She doesn't like being picked up. I tried only once and her body went stiff. No hissing thank God for weeks now. She doesn't run when I walk past her. I have to beg her to go to sleep otherwise she wants constant attention whenever I am working as well. Her meows are the cutest, especially the purr/meow she has and all the others. She is able to communicate so well as to if she is mad or wants attention or is in a playful mood from her body language and meows running around the house with naughty eyes. She kicks me during her sleep and also sleep talks :p

Story
Rocket was rescued from a parking garage she was living in. She is extremely social and does well with children and dogs, once acclimated. Unfortunately she does best being the only cat in the house. The reason we are trying to re-home her is because we recently had to take in our late mother’s 2 cats and unfortunately after 5 months we just are not getting anywhere. Rocket deserves a fun and loving home where she is the only cat. If you are looking for a great companion please inquire.

Story
Meet Gracie who was born in April. She is a gorgeous long hair calico, with some cute orange stripes, who can often be seen arching her back before jumping on a toy or wrestling. She loves to play and chase other kittens. She also enjoys human interaction, always rushing to meet people and immediately purring when held and pet. Gracie is very curious and ready to check out new toys or even the vacuum cleaner! She is vaccinated, treated for worms and fleas, litter box trained and will be spayed and microchipped when she goes home. Gracie is the sweetest of sweet kittens. Please see our website at https://ohlonehumanesociety.org/fostering-and-adoption/ and click on the ADOPTION APPLICATION button to submit your application, and let us know if you are looking for a particular kitten. We will let you know as soon as our Kitten Foster Program Manager reviews the applications received.    All of our kittens must be spayed or neutered in our care before adoption can be finalized. Kittens require a $150 minimum adoption fee to help us fund our program.   We are looking forward to your application submission.  August 18, 2024, 4:58 pm

Story
Meet Nigem, the charming cat who's been through a lot but still has a heart full of love. Estimated to be about 8 years old, he's got a majestic look with his fluffy fur that makes him seem like royalty. Nigem's story began on the streets, where life was tough until Woody rescue swooped in and brought him to safety. When he first came to us, he was scared of everything and spent a lot of time hiding. But as time went on, he started to trust us more and now he loves getting cuddles and scratches on his head and neck. Despite his fancy appearance, Nigem is a playful guy. He enjoys chasing things and looking out the window at the world passing by. He's still a bit jumpy around loud noises and new people, but he's getting braver every day. Nigem is a sweetheart who just wants your attention and affection. He's definitely enjoying a cozy indoor life after spending so much time outside. He loves to take long naps during the day. He's easy to care for and never causes any trouble. Please submit an adoption application if you are interested: https://forms.gle/JNvQG3Dva96z8oMs9. All cats and kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and complete FVRCP vaccination prior to adoption.

Story
Simon is a super mellow, go with the flow 3 year old who was rescued at 7 months of age. Simon is very friendly to everyone, and would fit into just about any home where people aren't running through the house (he loves to be right by your feet). He adores being in your lap, basking in sunbeams and finding toys you hide in crevices when he wants to play. He enjoys outside time, but stays close as he prefers to be near his people. However, he has no problem being alone at home while you work or are away for the weekend, especially if there's another pet at home. Simon had it rough before rescue, but he's a happy, healthy, homebody now. He has allergies, but proper food, inexpensive supplements and a once a month allergy shot keep him in fine shape. (by you at home, or a vet tech can) There's so much more to share about this quirky, silly boy, please consider reaching out to learn more about him. Simon is so easy to love, and will love you too!

Story
This is Lucky Donut, a one year old cat looking for a loving home. She was stuck in our neighbor’s soccer net when we rescued her. We kept her for a bit but now realized that we were really busy and Lucky Donut deserves more. She is a little shy at first but really sweet once you get to know her. She gets along with other cats well and loves being petted.

Story
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT Cheesepuff is a neutered young adult orange and white tabby born approximately 9/20/22.   Cheesepuff is a very sweet, quiet cat in his foster home. He enjoys playing with toys and snuggling with the other foster cats. He loves being pet, and tolerates brushing, but particularly like butt scritches. Cheesepuff is very comfortable around cat-savvy dogs and loves treats, particularly fish paste sticks (think Churu, Tiki Cat Stix). He likes to bathe in the sunroom on the cushions with the other cats and enjoys batting around mouse toys. He is very fond of his brother Cheeseslice.    He has a beautiful orange and white coat, of a longer medium length, though he does not require brushing, but it would be beneficial to brush him occasionally to reduce hairballs. His fur is extremely soft. Cheesepuff would probably do well in a home with very respectful children, as long as he has another confident feline companion in the home. His ideal situation would be to go to a home with his brother Cheeseslice, or at least have another cat in the home he can snuggle and hang out with while his humans are away. He has been waiting a very long time for a loving home and would love a place to call his own! Cheesepuff's brother (Cheeseslice) tested positive feline calicivirus and feline herpes at two months old and is likely a carrier for these feline viruses, so the best home for him  will be with someone who understands the possibility that he could have "breakouts"- however, in the year he has been with his foster, he has shown no intrusive symptoms of the viruses. Cheesepuff does have a "leaky" right eye (meaning it will get a little gooey), but he keeps it pretty clean. The foster's own cat was also tested for the viruses one year after they had lived together in the same household, and it came out negative. As long as vaccinations are up to date, there's a good chance Cheesepuff can move into a household that already has resident cats, with no viral exchange. Cats with feline herpes or calicivirus may exhibit symptoms or flareups ranging in severity, randomly or in times of stress throughout their life. Learn why kittens in pairs are healthier and happier at: http://tcrescue.com/why2kittens Cheesepuff is being fostered in Gilroy.   Adoption fee of $65 covers deworming, rabies and one FVRCP vaccination, microchip, and neuter  surgery.   If Cheesepuff is adopted with one of his foster siblings, the total adoption fee is only $75 for the pair! If you would like to meet this cat, please start by filling out our adoption application at tcrescue.com/adopt   ADOPTION INQUIRIES SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION FROM THE LINK ABOVE MAY NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.
