Story
Mila was found in Menlo Park when she was about 6 months old, along with her brothers and Mom. Her rescuer noticed her badly injured back leg. A visit to a vet confirmed she had been dealing with her injury for about a week. After her leg had been amputated, she couldn't go back outside. Millie, as she was then called, and one brother came inside and were socialized. The other brother disappeared. Millie was adopted when her rescuer went home and took her brother with her. All should have been "happily ever after"  and it was for 4 years but then things changed. Mom got very sick and is in hospital, paralized and will never be able to come back home or be able to care for her wonderful girls (Mila and her sister cat) again. The girls were alone with people coming in to feed and clean their litter boxes for over a month. They are initally shy around new people.  Mila and Gallina need to find a new "forever" family. Is yours the family for two special girls? Please note: Mila is a Special Needs cat.Mila should be adopted with her best friendMila is shy and needs a quiet home.Indoor onlyPrevious medical records are available for Mila.More information & application [ts=1742094108&src=aap]

Story
Luna is a gorgeous, long-haired loving and sweet cat that wants human attention and care. She so loves to be petted and brushed and to hang out with you. She has lovely long gray fur with a cute little white patch on her chest. She looks as if she has a lion's mane with her fur collar! Luna is a lap kitty, but is content to lie in her little bed next to you. She runs to you upon arrival in her room asking for pats and belly rubs, and she has fun chasing strings and feathers. She kneads your belly or the ground when she is happy or enticed by her string toy. Luna is spayed, vaccinated, litter box perfect, uses her scratching posts exclusively, and recently had teeth cleaned. She is the sweetest girl and needs her home with a kind and gentle person in a quiet household. Please consider Luna for your gentle home. To adopt Luna, please email cregers@comcast.net for an application March 5, 2025, 7:34 pm

Story
Meet Nigem, the charming cat who's been through a lot but still has a heart full of love. Estimated to be about 8 years old, he's got a majestic look with his fluffy fur that makes him seem like royalty. Nigem's story began on the streets, where life was tough until Woody rescue swooped in and brought him to safety. When he first came to us, he was scared of everything and spent a lot of time hiding. But as time went on, he started to trust us more and now he loves getting cuddles and scratches on his head and neck. Despite his fancy appearance, Nigem is a playful guy. He enjoys chasing things and looking out the window at the world passing by. He's still a bit jumpy around loud noises and new people, but he's getting braver every day. Nigem is a sweetheart who just wants your attention and affection. He's definitely enjoying a cozy indoor life after spending so much time outside. He loves to take long naps during the day. He's easy to care for and never causes any trouble. Please submit an adoption application if you are interested: https://forms.gle/JNvQG3Dva96z8oMs9. All cats and kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and complete FVRCP vaccination prior to adoption.

Story
At around 4 years old, Missy is a charming, affectionate kitty who’s traded the tough life of a colony cat for the cozy comforts of indoor living—and she’s ready to steal your heart! This sweet girl is on the hunt for her forever home, where she can share her love, playfulness, and quiet companionship. Missy starts off a little shy, but give her a moment, and she’ll bloom into the most devoted friend. She’s all about the little joys—rubbing against your legs, nuzzling up for head scratches, or delivering the gentlest of love bites to say “I adore you.” You’ll find her perched on her cat tree, basking in a sunbeam or gazing out the window like the queen of her domain. This isn’t just a cat who lounges around (though she’s great at that too!). Missy’s your daily sidekick—curling up at your feet while you work, greeting you with purrs in the kitchen each morning (especially if crunchy treats are involved!), and even joining in playful chases with her feline pals. She’s a pro at string toys and loves a good roll-around session, but her softest moments come when she’s tucked under the bed, only to pop out and boop you with her nose when you call. Missy’s quirks make her even more special. She might give a light love bite when she’s had enough cuddles—a leftover habit from her outdoor days—but it’s never mean-spirited, just her way of saying “I need a breather.” With time, patience, and a loving home, we’re betting this will fade as she settles in. Why Missy? She’s not just a pet—she’s a bestie who’ll bring warmth, laughter, and a dash of adventure to your life. Spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated (FIV/FeLV negative too!), she’s ready to move in. Missy would thrive with another adult cat and humans who get her feline ways. Could that be you? Ready to meet her? Fill out our adoption form and come see why Missy’s the cat you didn’t know you’ve been missing! https://form.jotform.com/pinkpawsftc/adoption March 14, 2025, 1:07 pm

Story
Born: February 12, 2023 Noche is a sweet, calm, and gentle soul eager to shower her new owner with love and devotion. Rescued from a construction site in Redwood City, this charming kitty first won the hearts of the workers who fed her. After a week of her persistent attempts to adopt a human of her own, they called Pink Paws for help. Now thriving in a loving foster home, Noche shares space with one other cat and two smaller dogs. While she gets along peacefully, she’s shown a preference for being the only pet—craving the undivided affection of her human companions. Noche is a true shadow, following her foster mom everywhere, and delights in kneading and purring to express her contentment. Well-mannered and utterly darling, she’s the perfect companion for someone seeking a loyal, affectionate feline friend. Ready to find her forever home, Noche promises to bring warmth and joy to the lucky person who welcomes her in. Could that be you? Noche will do best in a home where she is the only kitty and where the children are teenagers or older. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet her. https://form.jotform.com/pinkpawsftc/adoption March 10, 2025, 5:33 pm
