814-806-4076 ADOPT TAYLOR KIT! Long haired kitty who needs a great home! This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 814-806-4076 Cat located in this city: Daytona Beach Cat’s Name: Taylor Kit Cat’s Age & Sex: 12, Female Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Taylor Kit was found outside my home before Thankgiving in rough shape. She was emaciated and and needed some love and care. Her previous owner was found, he abandoned her and refused to give her medical attention when it was desperately needed. I have nursed her back to health and she is ready for her forever home. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Taylor is an independent girl, who loves people and grows to tolerate other cats. She loves to play, eat cat nip, cuddle and use her scratcher. She is sweet, easy to care for girl and quiet. YouTube link to a video of her. Copy and paste this into your browser to view : https://youtube.com/shorts/DbfU6nGmljA?feature=share Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): She will come woth a scratcher, box of clumping litter, litter box, bed and several months of her medication for her bowel regulation (1/2 tab daily, 2 month supply is $10). What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): She prefers dry food but like churu type treats. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $15 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We personally thank you for your interest in adopting one or more of our wonderful cats or kittens! We have invested a lot of our time, energy and resources to offer a second chance to these rescued kitties. Many have been through situations already and our goal is to prevent that from happening again. We are committed to seeing our cats through, as we have poured our hearts into them, and take our adoptions seriously, even after they leave our care.   We encourage an ongoing relationship with our adopters, and look for people that are easy to work with.   If at any time in the cat’s life you are unable to keep him or her, you are required to return the cat(s) to us.  We don’t stop caring once the kitties leave! We make every effort that each adoption be successful. All adopters must complete an application. You must be at least 18 years old to fill out an application.  Please print clearly and considerately (for paper applicants). Please fill it out with complete honesty, – there is no “right” or “wrong” answer. We have the right to refuse an adoption application for any reason without recourse if we feel that we need to gather more info, or for whatever concerns the well being of the kitties applied for.  If applications are incomplete, we can delay or deny an adoption.    Please give us a few days time to process your application and to get back with you, respectfully! Ben Purr is one big fluffy teddy bear boy and playful. He is a bigger kitty, but not overweight, he loves cuddles at bedtime, he drools - you'll need kleenex by your bedside! When he is not seeking the cuddles and attention, he will play! He lounges like most adults, but also finds a way to chase and play with his kitty imagination in full effect. He is not sure about laser lights, but does enjoy catnip! He loves wet food, and dry is his main diet while in rescue. He does well with other pets, not dog tested, but it may be possible. Kids are fine as long as they are gentle. Ben Purr was a wondering neighborhood kitty, which I personally put food out for him when I saw him. He kept coming by, and once the storms hit, I decided I would bring him in if he showed up. He did. I brought him in to keep him safe, and then decided to take him to the vet since he was doing so well. He checked out fine, and has all his shots - has not been outside since and doesn't try 'busting out' - although, I am sure he wouldn't mind a stroll - we just don't do that with cats for adoption. Please fill out an application if you are interested and we can get your journey started. Meet n greets are by appointment to fit around work schedules. Thank you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Each cat adoption includes vet work; Spay or Neuter, Appropriate Vaccines, Microchip (for most cats), FIV/FeLV Test, basic parasite treatments like deworming and ear checks (for mites), and any other potential medical need at the time he or she is in our care.  Courtesy listings or cats that are not in our immediate care, may not have all the listed services and can be discussed at the time of an interview. We also include an adoption  goodie bag with Premium Cat Food,  canned cat food, toys, feather toys or string toys, laser light,  adoption folder with vet history, healthy pet care and product brochure with subscription offered,  any available coupons, and as much information as needed to help you with your new kitty!  Similarly, cats that are courtesy listings or not in our direct care, may not come with these incentives, or may have other belongings to go with them, which can be discussed during the interview stage. Adoption Fees: An adoption fee or donation is used to help recover the medical expenses for each of our cats, and for their needs while in our care. The adoption fees vary depending on popularity, adoptability and other factors we take into consideration. Our fees range from "any donation" - to 40 or 60 or so, for adults or over 1 year.  Average is 60 for teens, and kittens are 75 - 100 or so, depending on medical costs.  All fees are potentially flexible but we tend to consider it to be a reflection of the adopter's value in our kitties and their state of mind. Story
Meet Token, the independent, long-haired beauty looking for her forever home! Token is a bit on the shy side at first, but don’t let her cautious demeanor fool you—once she warms up to you, she’ll be the sweetest companion you could ask for. Though she may not be a fan of grooming (her luxurious coat is a bit too much for her to handle), Token’s striking fur will still leave you in awe. She enjoys the finer things in life, especially catnip and Temptations treats, which are sure to win her heart. Token prefers a peaceful, one-pet household, so she’s not a fan of other cats and would rather keep to herself. She’s the type of kitty who values her personal space and will happily curl up beside you when she's ready for some affection. If you're patient, gentle, and willing to give Token the time she needs to feel safe, you'll be rewarded with a loving, loyal companion who will always be there when it matters most. Could this beautiful, sweet soul be the purrfect addition to your home?
