Dartagnian lived with a senior who had him as her special companion. he thinks he’s human. loves cuddling, movies, and sharing late night snacks! Dart is a great companion for a single person who like i lnteractive pet. he does get along with dogs and cats but loves humans!

My wife and I adopted Angel from the Lake County Shelter last August. Our vet estimated his age to be 5-6 months. He then weighed 5 lbs; he now weighs @12 lbs, which the vet said is a good weight for him. We feed him Purina Pro Plan wet and dry food, with a monthly treat of wild caught salmon or tuna. He has plenty of toys and loves to chase his laser pointer, as well as his fuzzy ostrich, feathered fish, and running through his tunnel. As he was feral prior to being at the shelter, he is not yet fully comfortable being held, although he will follow you and take a position near to you when you sit. He also loves to be brushed while in the bathroom particularly after you bathe. He has a varied vocabulary, but has never hissed, yowled, growled, or put his ears back. He will give clear signals of overstimulation prior to scratching or biting. While he doesn’t mind an occasional stroke on his shoulders, he doesn’t like being touched on his belly, back near his tail, or top of his head.

He was then adopted, but returned again after his owner passed away. He went into a foster home to let him settle, and below is what his foster has said about him...Everyone who has met him likes him, he's behaved well, he does normal cat things. He's eating well and uses the litter box. When he needs a calm place or gets anxious, he prefers to go under the bed. Binx loves to sleep in the bathroom sink! He is friendly and affectionate and will play whenever he is approached to play.  He will grab at brushes and combs, so we recommend no young children. As he is independent, we recommend him as the only cat. Foster Update 2/1/24:Thackery Binx is a magnificent cat! He is a fabulous companion and wants to be with you, yet he does not require a lot of attention, just your presence. He appears calm, steadfast, and is great company...And then there is Binx at play! He loves, just loves vigorous and exciting play. His favorite is a fishing rod toy whipping around for him to chase. He is fast, agile and strong. Binx is well mannered-he stays off kitchen counters and does not pester anyone eating. He is intelligent and learns quickly. Binx is friendly and affectionate, yet only wants to be in your lap for a couple of minutes. He enjoys petting, then will jump down and remain happily in your presence.He loves to lay on his back but does not like his belly touched. He will grab at brushes/combs, or your hand and 'play bite' so he is not a good match for children. Binx is looking for for someone to enjoy his 'trill' of greeting and share his days for his lifetime. They love her very much and it was hard for them, but felt that their home was not the best fit. They have two very rambunctious dogs that make Ohannah uncomfortable. So they asked us to take her in to our rescue. Ohannah's foster home is quiet, but Ohannah does not appear to like other pets at all.  She needs to be queen of her household! Ohannah is a sweet lap kitty and just as gorgeous.  She has the longest whiskers and a beautiful coat that will require daily brushing, which is a great bonding tool. What an adorable cat!! Look at those fluffs in her Maine Coon ears! She has a beautiful brown tabby coat with white sock. Fluffy was rescued with her litter after they were dumped in a neighborhood where dogs ran free and attacked them. She protected her babies until a kind person brought them to the rescue.
