Story
Morty has come a long way from his days as a scared stray. When first rescued, he was so frightened that he would panic in a kennel, causing injury to the bridge of his nose. Thankfully, he found an amazing foster home where he received the love, patience, and socialization he needed to heal—both physically and emotionally. Now fully recovered, Morty is ready for his forever home! He has experience living with large dogs, cats, and kids, making him a well-rounded companion. Playful yet sweet, Morty is looking for a family who will cherish him and give him the love he deserves. Could that be you? Currently staying at the Costal Cat Cafe in Pensacola!

Story
Hello, I'm Woodlee. Life in the shelter is comfortable, but I yearn for more. I'm a bit of a wallflower, preferring quiet corners over bustling centers. But don't mistake my shyness for indifference. I'm observant, taking in the world from my quiet perch. I'm a patient listener, a silent companion who'll sit by your side as you share your day. I may not be the first to greet you, but give me time and I'll warm up to you. My trust, once earned, is unwavering. Adopt me, and let's build a bond that's quiet but strong.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Juliet is an extremely sweet 13-year-old kitty with beautiful silver fur. A little skittish around strangers, she is very friendly once she warms up to someone. She enjoys being held and getting lovings for short periods, but also values long nap times in a quiet room in front of the window. Juliet's skittishness tends to invite bullying from dogs and she will defend herself with her front claws, so she should not be in a home with dogs or even alpha-male cats, though she should be fine with other calm kitties like herself. Though she has all her claws, she's content using a scratch mat rather than furniture. She has recently been diagnosed with some kidney issues that require her to be on a diet of prescription kidney care soft food. She also needs medication for hyperthyroid. It might be a long shot, but we are hoping to find someone who has a heart for a special needs cat and can afford the food and medication, in order to give her a loving home for her remaining years.

Story
Bella was hit by car but rescued immediately by foster mom that took her to the vet to be checked out.  She was on meds for 10 days and then rechecked at vet and is doing great.  She is very energetic and loves to play and would do better in a house that is full of energy.  She has been the only cat at her foster home and hasn't gotten the chance to meet children or other animals.  She loves to play with toys, especially the ones that squeak.  She loves attention and have been teaching her not to bite hands and play gentle.  Bella entertains us as night as she bounces around running the house.  She is the sweetest girl and is looking for a furever home! She's also Negative for FIV/Leukemia and has had their 1st vaccines and 2nd deworming and treated for fleas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 16, 2025, 2:37 pm

Story
Boone and his 4 siblings were born by a feral mother in the foster mom's backyard.  Boone is one of the larger of the boys and is also the sweetest.  He is such a great sibling and loves to climb and explore.  He plays great with other cats but hasn't been exposed to dogs.  Boone plays with ropes and strings, chases balls and loves climbing!  He's laid back, purrs, loves to cuddle and get pets and brushes.  Boone is a purrfect boy looking for his furever home!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 22, 2025, 5:26 pm
