Cosmo is a beautiful long hair Tortie. She is a sweet girl but would do best in an only pet home or perhaps with a more laid back older animal. ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Story
Grim is a neglect/abuse survivor we found on the North End of Springfield. He was in rough shape when we found him, and probably wouldn't have lived much longer without human intervention. Fast forward half a year, and Grim is a sweet, loving senior cat in need of a permanent home. He's incredibly quiet, only squeaking at his loudest! And even at 8 years old (estimated), he's as spry and playful as ever! Grim is an absolute sweetheart, who loves pets and sitting in your lap or sleeping in bed with you. Grim does have FIV, and while that hasn't caused any serious problems yet, it is something to be aware of. We believe Grim would do best in a single-cat household with his humans that love him. If you think that's you, please reach out!

Story
Meet Church, a handsome 4-year-old long-haired brown tabby with a personality as relaxed as his silky coat. This laid-back gentleman takes life at his own easygoing pace, making him the perfect companion for a calm and peaceful home. Church enjoys lounging in sunny spots, watching the world go by, and being pampered with gentle brushes to keep his stunning fur in top shape. Whether you're looking for a quiet buddy to relax with or someone to share your day, Church is ready to bring his soothing presence to your life. Church has FIV, which means he has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats. If you are interested in adopting him, call the APL at 217-544-7387 or fill out an application at apl-shelter.org!
