Story
River is a super handsome, smallish, male kitty, about one-year-old, who came to us as a stray. When he first arrived, we thought he was a bit feral. But one day when we were getting ready to send him to a barn home, he rolled over and let us pet his tummy! He was telling us we were wrong and that he wanted to be an inside cat living with a family! LOL! This boy is so loving and thrives on attention! River is small in stature but makes up for it with his HUGE heart of gold. He will do great in a home with dogs, cats and kids who are respectful of his space. He's a great little guy waiting for a loving home of his very own. And of course, weekly gentle brushing and a toy or two would make him even more happy! ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Story
Sasha is a gorgeous, loving little girl who came to us as a stray. She is beautiful in color, gray with hints of tan and orange, and seems like she'll grow to be a long-haired beauty. She was shy at first and one day, stepped out of her bed, and decided she was past that stage. Now, she's super friendly and very cuddly. You can hold her like a baby, and she loves a good tummy rub. There's not one thing wrong with Sasha. She loves her little mouse toy and any attention she can get. She has age appropriate vaccines but has yet to get her rabies vaccine and spay. She's just too young yet for that. ........ We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Send us a message here OR email us at macoupincountyac@gmail.com. Story
Hi, my name is Sandy and I'm about 7 years old. One of the Bond County Humane Society volunteers found me along the interstate looking emaciated, dehydrated, and covered in ticks. I was so small she thought I was a kitten. When I was examined by the veterinarian it turned out that my teeth were not in good shape, so they have all been removed. I can eat as well as ever.  I am on a special diet of hypoallergenic food because I was having a reaction to my regular cat food.  I am cautious with new people, but then I will warm up and enjoy being held. I like to watch the other cats in my community room but I am cautious about interacting with them. I am litter-box trained, but sometimes I miss and go over the side. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.
