Story
Meet Tiny!!Tiny is a shy 2-year-old barn cat who is ready to thrive in a working cat environment! While she isn’t social with humans, she can be a great asset to a farm, helping to keep rodents at bay. Barn cat adopters must meet certain criteria to ensure Tiny`s safety and well-being in her new home. To help her adjust, Tiny will need a confinement period in a secure, sheltered building, such as a tack room in a barn or an office in a pole barn, for at least 1-2 weeks. This acclimation period allows her to feel comfortable in her new surroundings and prevents her from wandering off too soon. With the right setup—including food, water, bedding, litter box, and a cozy hiding spot—Tiny will be well on her way to becoming a fantastic working cat!Tiny is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.

Story
Meet Maya, she is a sweet and loving 8-year-old kitty looking for her perfect home! She’s a friendly and playful companion who enjoys spending time with adults. While she hasn’t been around young children, older children, or other cats, she’s sure to thrive in a calm and patient environment.Maya can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she becomes a total cuddlebug! She loves to curl up in your lap or sit by your side, making her the perfect snuggle buddy. She also enjoys gazing out the window and watching the world go by. Her favorite toys include toy mice, string, feathers, and balls—she has an average play style and activity level, making her a fun but relaxed companion. She absolutely loves treats, which can be a great way to earn her trust! Maya is nervous around dogs and will need a very slow and patient introduction if there’s a pup in the home. With the right approach, she has the potential to adjust in time. If you`re looking for a gentle, affectionate cat who will reward your patience with love and loyalty, Maya might just be the perfect match for you!She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations and preventatives. .
