Story
Bo has been the long-term companion of a lovely elderly woman neighbor. His human has gone into the hospital for surgery and long-term rehabilitation and may not be able to care for Bo afterward. She has made the difficult decision to find a new home for him. Bo is a sweetheart who is great with other animals. He received a closed head injury in his younger years when he was hit by a car, but that has not put a stop to his personality or style. He would be an excellent companion pet for people and a good housemate to other cats.

Story
Meet Tiny!!Tiny is a shy 2-year-old barn cat who is ready to thrive in a working cat environment! While she isn’t social with humans, she can be a great asset to a farm, helping to keep rodents at bay. Barn cat adopters must meet certain criteria to ensure Tiny`s safety and well-being in her new home. To help her adjust, Tiny will need a confinement period in a secure, sheltered building, such as a tack room in a barn or an office in a pole barn, for at least 1-2 weeks. This acclimation period allows her to feel comfortable in her new surroundings and prevents her from wandering off too soon. With the right setup—including food, water, bedding, litter box, and a cozy hiding spot—Tiny will be well on her way to becoming a fantastic working cat!Tiny is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
