I might be shy at first with new people, but eventually I will love you just as much as I love my foster family. I also constantly rub up on my foster families legs, love getting attention from them, and even sitting on their lap. I love to play with my siblings and hope to go home with one of them. I love my cactus scratcher also! Am I meant to be in your family? I am fully vetted: neutered, FIV&FeLV negative, and I am up to date on my vaccinations. I require an indoor only home and as with all cats - absolutely no declawing. I would do best in a home with another cat. My foster home is located in Faribault, Minnesota. Hi, my name is Clara! I am an absolutely STUNNING long haired swirled tabby. I’m kind of a big girl and most people think I’m a boy at first glance. My face is very regal and it draws people in… what can I say, I’m a stunner. At first I can be a little shy, but I enjoy affection and being petted - back scratches are my favorite. I’m not a big fan of being held, but that may change with time. I enjoy basking in the sun, sprawling all out on the floor, and playing with catnip toys. I am great with other cats and I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to that understands it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I adjust. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell - I really am a wonderful cat. Come meet me any day between 1-5pm to see if I’m meant to be in your family! I was found near a local business, no identification. After kind folks realized that I was homeless, I secured a spot at Animal Ark. I`m looking for a new home where I can be treasured like the petite princess I was meant to be. Staff and volunteers have found me to be very sweet, outgoing, and affectionate. I did test positive for feline leukemia, a common virus that effects about 2% of the U.S. cat population. It is not transmittable to humans or species other than cats. Staff will be glad to answer any questions. If a mini house panther sounds appealing, please come to the shelter to meet me!

My name is Millie, and I found myself at Animal Ark after a kind person took great care of me until a spot opened up at the shelter. I`m an experienced mom, but my days of raising kittens are thankfully in the past. I`m a longer-haired brown tabby female with gorgeous markings. Staff are still getting to know me, but my guardian angel described me as shy. My experience with other animals and children is unknown. Given my recent adventures in the outdoors, I`m looking for a family dedicated to keeping me safe indoors. My name is Romeo, and I`m a longhaired grey and white adult male cat who found myself at Animal Ark when my owner found herself with too many pets. When I came to the shelter, my owner described me as friendly, quiet, and easy-going. I`m happy and playful with dogs, but I behave aggressively toward other cats. I have no experience with children. Gradual introductions are always best, but I must be the only feline in my new home. With a luxurious coat like mine, regular brushing and combing is a necessity, and grooming is a great way to bond with me.
