Soft Kitty, born in November of 2019, is a quiet, sweet, long-haired dilute calico. She was surrendered when her owner couldn't keep up with the grooming and she became matted to the skin all over her body. We shaved her down so she can start over and get used to being groomed without pain. She has been front declawed. We are helping Soft Kitty lose a little weight so she can more easily clean herself. Soft Kitty needs a patient, caring home that will help her keep her glorious coat in good condition and help live her best cat life moving forward. She adores attention, and would love nothing more than to spend life being petted as much as possible! Come and meet Soft Kitty if you think she might be the girl for you. All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition.
