Story
Moo is 12 years old and very loving, but she has a lot of anxiety. I think with our children and added dog, it’s just not working in her favor. She keeps neglecting her litter box and it is ruining our house. Moo needs a simple home without disturbance from small children and other animals.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Pineapple and I am just as sweet as my name suggests. I love many things including being held and cuddled. I also enjoy running and playing with toys and other kitties, eating wet food, and curling up in a bed for a nap when I get tired. If you are looking for a real sweetheart of a cat, then look no further. You found me! Are you interested in adopting Pineapple or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center or Timber Drive next to Home Depot). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

Story
Nyx & Coco are a package deal. They have been inseparable twins from birth and have a very strong bond. They are both domestic long-haired tuxedo kittens >6 months old. They are very cute and offer a lot of good memories and joy. We would keep them but with the added costs of pet supplies in addition to our 6 other kittens we need them to go to a good and caring owner who treats them like the king and queen they are. We will forever love our Nyx & Coco.

Story
Arnold Palmer is a sweet and resilient cat who has overcome a rough start in life. Despite his past, he has a playful spirit and loves chasing toys. While he enjoys the occasional head scratch, Arnold is an independent kitty who values his personal space. Arnold Palmer would thrive in a calm home without dogs, cats, or young children. However, with patience and time, he may adjust to living with an older cat or dog that respects his boundaries. If you're looking for a loyal companion who appreciates both playtime and independence, Arnold Palmer could be the perfect match for you! Arnold Palmer's adoption fee ensures that he is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines and monthly preventatives.  Primary Color: Tabby- Brown Secondary Color: Tabby- Brown Weight: 14.25 Age: 2yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
Sophia is a 3 year old long hair black beauty! She is very sweet and loving, but is very shy when meeting new people. It takes her a while to warm up, but when she does she loves to curl up in your lap and purr. She didn't do well in her previous home due to multiple cats and dogs in the home, causing to her to hide. She will do best in a more quiet environment with no dogs, and may be okay with 1 cat with a slow introduction. She deserves her Purrfect Furever home where she can come out of her shell and be herself, and get lots of love and attention that is just for her! ##1996055##

Story
Meet Noodle! Noodle is an approximately 8-year-old domestic longhair that loves pets, treats, and big windows. She is a very affectionate kitty who would love to become your chatty shadow. Her adoption fee will cover a pet carrier, food and water bowls, her favorite toys, and some of her favorite food. Over the past year, Noodle has begun to show some seemingly stress-related behaviors, such as spraying and biting. This behavior is seemingly exclusive to my room and me, as she does not bite my roommates or spray in their rooms. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to afford vet appointments and/or medication. For these reasons, I would prefer her to go to a home with an experienced pet owner. She does not do well with other cats or young children, but historically does well with (pre-)teens and can tolerate dogs who give her space.
