Story
I acquired Heidi as a kitten from a coworker who had a cat with a litter in Evergreen Colorado. Heidi is eight years old. I am looking for a home for her in which she will be the only cat and have the owners undivided attention- this is heaven for her she would love it!! Attributes for Heidi: Don’t pick me up- not a lap cat I LOVE food, silver vine and catnip! I don’t like to share. I am fIercely loyal. I am very smart and like to play games and puzzles. You have to come up with a strategy to outwit me in order to catch me! Please tame my mane- brush it or take me to the salon! I want to be the only diva in the house. I don’t like scissors when grooming.

Story
Roxanne is a gorgeous, sweet, playful, long haired fluffy ball of love. She likes to be picked up and held, and is such an affectionate girl. She would do best in a home with Chance, her brother, or other young cat friendly cats. She definitely needs playmates, and lots and lots of love.

Story
Toso is a stunningly beautiful, long-haired girl that was born at the end of January 2024 so she is a young thing. Toso will stand on her back feet to rub her head against your hand or knee because she wants your attention! This lovely lady comes to our rescue from a northern NC shelter where she was brought in as a stray with terrible mats in her fur! She was overwhelmed by shelter life but she has settled down nicely since leaving the shelter life behind. She would do best in a fairly quiet home where she could spend time with her very own person but also quiet nap time to herself. Toso will need someone that will be willing to brush her regularly to keep her gorgeous fur tangle-free.

Story
Ki-Ki is a sweet girl with an old soul. Her black fur is silky smooth and incredibly soft. She comes with a white bib and 4 white socks. She is a little shy at first when meeting new humans, but warms up quickly. She is very playful and loves playing with her sister Ji-Ji. She is a master at snuggling and loves to relax on laps and sleeps curled up against her foster mom every night. She is bonded to her sister Ji-Ji and needs to be adopted with her. ##2213286##

Story
Sam is a beautiful Maine Coon mix with a slightly red tinted black coat, long tufts on paws, bushy tail and ruff to keep his neck warm. He was begging in my neighborhood, so I started feeding him and after a day or two he would walk right up and beg from my kitchen door. Attempts to find his home went unanswered. This extrovert is not shy of anything or anyone. He is a door greeter and loves to meet you at the door and knows no strangers. However, he is on a daily medication. He prefers a male owner and is less a fan of chilling with women. Sam enjoys being gently petted, never aggressively, when he approaches you. Once he has had enough his ears will begin to flatten and that is the time to stop. He likes to be softly held or picked up.Sleeping on your bed is his preference but not on top of you. Being alone in the house is no problem for Sam. Sam is a cat that loves to be admired. If you are interested in adopting Sam, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 11/27/2021 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2118995##

Story
** LAP CAT ALERT** This girl checks all the boxes - sweet, friendly, loves laps, loves naps, and she is stunning. She is 7 years young, has excellent house manors, and a purr-fect litter box user. She does have a couple requirements in her next home - she would love to be your only pet or in a home with a calm dog. She is allergic to flea bites which just means she cannot go outdoors and must be on monthly flea treatment.  She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, negative for heartworm, feline leukemia, and FIV.  Email CarolinaCatRescue@gmail.com for more information or complete an application for this cutie girl. ##2194164##

Story
Dori is about to be 10 in June. She is very healthy. She just had her annual vet visit a few months ago. She is part Maine Coon, so not as big as a pure bred. She is very sweet and loves all people. She is a chatty girl, but also enjoys snuggles and lots of kisses, and of course, treats! I got her when she was 7 from her owner who needed to rehome her after getting a job that requires a lot of travel. Now, I am in the same situation. I got a job that requires an extensive amount of travel. Dori needs to be in a home with someone who doesn't travel all the time. It is unfair to her. Although she has been very happy living with me in a city apartment, I think she would be even happier with a yard and an option to go outside. She used to be an outdoor cat, and I can tell she misses it. This is going to break my heart, but all I want is for her to be in a happy, loving home.
