Story
Minda was surrendered by her owner to Feline Matchmakers because she deficated outside the box (but pees IN the box.) Her ultrasound revealed that she has MILD IBD, Irritable Bowel Disease. She was teaming with an intestinal parasite, which is now treated and gone. She is feeling much better now but she still poops outside of a litter box most of the time. We have tried medications, acupuncture and herbal remedies and now have her on a high protein, no carb diet. We don't know if this will solve the problem, but we are out of resources to investigate further.  Minda will require a special adopter that can look past her pooping issues. She has good, firm stools, so it isn't hard to clean up. She loves hanging out in our catio, so a dedicated screened in porch with several litter boxes and an easy to clean floor would be ideal. She is otherwise such a happy and healthy girl, with lots of fun loving to give. She can also be crated once her pooping schedule is known, something we have successfully tried in the past.  Minda will need to remain an indoor kitty and have plenty of stimulation like a cat tree, tall scratching post and interactive activities. She will need grooming as often as possible, and enjoys it when she's in the mood. All Feline Matchmakers cats are tested, spayed, chipped and up to date on vaccinations. For those over 21 in the Wilmington, NC area, adoption applications are taken at felinematchmakers.org ##1981690##

Story
My owners were moving and couldn't take me with them. I am very scared in the shelter environment, but I am a beautiful girl with lots of love to give. I love head and chin rubs. All I need is a little extra time to warm up to my future forever family.

Story
Meet Honey Bunny Honey Bunny has had a hard life in her 7 years. She was a feral who had multiple litters before we were able to get her here to the safety of the Sanctuary. She has been spayed, vaccinated and is in great health. She is very petite; in the 6 to 10 lb range. She has acclimated very well from a feral cat to one who likes human attention and affection. She will be best in a quiet home with adults or a quiet family. She gets along well with cats. Story
Glory is approximately 2 to 3 years old; we have given her a birthday of August 1. 2022. This stunning long hair beauty has spent her short life living outside with a colony. The care givers of this colony pulled her aside because she unlike a feral…she is very loving, friendly and accepting of belly rubs. She follows the volunteers and clearly wants human interaction. She will likely take patience and some time to convert into being a full time indoor cat, We are confident that she will adapt quickly. She is scheduled to be spayed on January 21, 2025. She is already litter box trained. Her adoption fee is $150 (includes spay, vaccinations and vet fees). Prior to adoption, we require an application to be submitted.
