Story
Leo and Joey are brothers that were found as little kittens. Abandoned by their mom. We took them in and have had them for over a year now. Despite our allergies we have fallen in love. These boys look like they could be MANECOON mixed. Extremely cuddly and love to be treated like babies. These boys love to be kissed and hugged and are very spoiled. Please do not adopt these babies if you plan to separate them. They play great together as well as with our children and with our dog. Great cats overall, we are just struggling with managing our extremely allergies. Declawed and fixed. Solely indoor cats.

Story
Meet Rae! Rae is 4 year old domestic long haired cat. We adopted him just 2 weeks ago for my mom, but it sounds like it isn’t working out. He’s excellent at using the litter box, and eats and drinks (he LOVES running water), . With him being a younger adult, he needs someone to play with him and be patient as he warms up to you. Unfortunately, I cannot take him in so we’re trying to find a forever home for him in the area. If you are looking for a cuddly, energetic dog-like cat, Rae is your boy! We can also throw in items like toys and items to help the rehoming process go smoother!

Story
Poor little Trixie was abandoned in an apartment in Urbana after her owner moved out. We were able to take her in so we can find a good home for her. Shes a sweet, quiet cat who just wants a calm, loving family to take care of her for the rest of her life. She's living in the Kool Katz room now, one of our free-roam adult cat rooms at the shelter. She's a quiet, reserved cat who gets along well with her roommates. She does love to play, especially with the fishing pole toys. She'd be a wonderful addition to virtually any family.Note from Paws humans: To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt

Story
Hello, I'm Jackson. I'm a bit timid, but don't let that fool you. I'm as sweet as they come. I got my shyness from my mom, she was a wild one. But don't worry, I'm not like her. I'm learning to trust, to love. Every day, I'm growing braver, more confident. I'm discovering the joy of soft pats and warm laps. I'm a gentle soul, eager to find a place where I can feel safe and loved. Adopting me won't just change my life, it'll add a bundle of joy to yours. Let's make beautiful memories together.Note from Paws humans: Jackson came to us with his brother, Shaggy (who has been adopted). Their mom was feral, and has now been trapped and spayed, so no more kittens for her. The family taking care of mom brought her two gorgeous kittens to Paws Animal Shelter so they could be adopted. Story
Hello there, I'm Betty. I've got a heart full of love and a purr that could melt even the coldest of hearts. I'm a sweet, friendly, and gentle soul who loves nothing more than curling up on a warm lap or playing with a toy mouse. I'm used to living in a home and I miss it dearly. I've been told I have a calming presence, a soothing purr that brings comfort to those around me. I'm easy to love and easier to care for. I'm Betty, your new best friend. Why should you adopt me? Because I have a lifetime of love to give and I'm ready to share it with you. I promise, you won't regret it.Note from Paws humans: Betty and Wilma were surrendered because their owner had to move in with her elderly mother. The mother isn't doing well and has fallen multiple times. She felt the cats would be a tripping hazard for her mother.
