Story
Galadriel came to us with her three friends January 8,2025 after their owner past away. They were all very well loved and cared for and it shows! A senior girl born June 6, 2007, she is a quiet and very friendly girl. Galadriel is sad here in shelter and would love a quiet home with a human to brush her pretty fur which she keeps very clean.A warm soft bed and a loving home would be just what she needs in her senior years.

Story
Meet Mrs. Puff! Were you drawn to her because of her beautiful profile photo? She is stunning! Mrs. Puff is a resilient 6-year-old cat with a heart full of potential. Mrs. Puff is learning to enjoy the luxuries of living in a warm and loving home – where food can be demanded with a loud meow, cheek and chin scratches will begin with head bonks, and someone around to keep company when there is a good book to read. Mrs. Puff loves to be close to her people and has a purr that doesn’t stop when you sit with her. She makes biscuits and rolls around for the world to see her belly. Her favourite activities include lounging in cozy spots for long naps and gazing out the window, watching the world go by. When feeling playful, she loves chasing her toys, especially from her tunnel and will play with toys from it. Mrs. Puff will need some special love and care for her long and fluffy coat. She's not a fan of being brushed, but it's necessary to keep her long hair looking its best. While she loves affection and attention, Mrs. Puff is still learning to let her guard down. When she feels a bit overwhelmed, she may give a gentle swipe to let you know she needs some space to reset. This is just her way of protecting herself as she continues to build trust in her new environment. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home with adults only and no other pets. Mrs. Puff is not meant to live outdoors, but she ended up on the streets when her family chose to get a dog. Rescued from a frightening life outside, she needed dedicated foster care and patience to earn her trust. Thankfully, she was brought indoors just in time for winter! Mrs. Puff requires a family that understands the importance of trust and building relationships, as this process may take time. However, the effort is truly worthwhile! If you're in search of a companion with a big heart and a unique personality, Mrs. Puff could be the perfect match for you.

Story
I`m Mozart--a cat, not a composer. Far from Salzburg, birthplace of his famous namesake Wolfgang Amadeus, our Mozart is a local fellow, hailing from Hamilton. Currently relaxing in a foster home, our handsome boy is adjusting to his new surroundings while waiting to meet a family he can call his own.ABOUT MOZART:-In foster-Adult, domestic longhair/mix, male-When at the shelter, Mozart might have initially hissed at visitors, but he was simply asking you to proceed slowly.-He preferred to spend most of his time in the comfort and security of his cubby. Once everything fell quiet at the end of a shift, Mozart sometimes emerged to lie down at the door to his kennel.-Mozart can be petted around his cheeks and chin, however he can become overstimulated, so the ability to read body language is important.-Tube treats are a good way to bring out his curious and sociable nature.  -Mozart is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations. MOZART`S IDEAL HOME:-Mozart would like to be the only cat in a quiet household with no young children.-He would appreciate an experienced adopter who understands it will take time for him to become comfortable in his new home.W.A.Mozart gifted the world with over six hundred compositions. Although our Mozart is no musical prodigy, he will provide love and companionship, music to one`s ears. If you are looking to add harmony to your life, why not schedule a virtual meeting to meet Mozart? If you have any questions about Mozart or the adoption process, please contact cats@etobicokehumanesociety.com

Story
DOB: February 1, 2016 (9 years old)- Microchipped Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Milo is a big, fluffy boy with a lot of personality. At 16 pounds, with a long body, a big head, and bright green eyes, he looks a bit like a Nebelung. He’s affectionate but on his own terms—when he loves you, he really loves you. He’ll sleep by your head, burrow into your neck or hair, and chirp (not meow) to chat with you. Milo is independent and a bit opinionated. He doesn’t like rough play and needs someone who understands when he wants attention and when he needs space. His moods can shift fast, so he’d do best with an experienced cat owner who can read him. He needs a calm home without kids or other pets, as he gets anxious around other animals and may scratch if scared. But in the right environment, he’s a sweet and loyal companion. He loves chasing aluminum foil balls, watching birds, and living life at his own pace. Right now, Milo is staying at a pet hotel, and while he’s safe and well cared for, he really needs a stable home where he can feel secure. If you’re patient and appreciate a cat with a strong personality, he’ll be an amazing companion. Milo is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Dameli at d.ushbayeva@gmail.com - Thank you.

Story
Microchipped, DOB: Jan 10, 2014 Oliver is a sweet and loving senior black cat who adores affection. He enjoys pets all over, but head scratches are his absolute favourite. He’s happiest when he’s close to his human, always ready to give gentle head butts in exchange for more cuddles. When he’s not soaking up love, you’ll find Oliver napping by the window or playfully wrestling his favourite catnip-infused toys. Oliver is also a smart boy who knows how to bury himself under the covers on his own. He loves sleeping under a blanket and cuddles up next to you and he'll even nudge your phone with his head until it's out of the way and he’s getting your attention and pets instead. When it comes to food, Oliver is currently on a urinary care diet food and will need to stay on this diet permanently as he has a history of urinary crystals. He also prefers drinking water from a bowl over a fountain. If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate companion to spend your days with, Oliver is your guy! Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $225.
