Calm - Friendly - Cuddly While Baguette started out shy and nervous, she quickly adjusted to being in her foster house. Now she loves getting pets and attention and happily cuddles when her fosters sit next to her. Even during playtime she’s often more interested in giving and receiving affection while her foster siblings are busy playing, although she certainly still has a playful side. She hasn’t climbed into our laps yet, but she’s put a paw up on our leg before and given her loving nature we think it’s possible, although not guaranteed, that she could eventually become a lap cat. Baguette’s fur is extremely long, soft, and majestic and she loves having it brushed, but it is prone to matts and she sheds a lot, so it will require care and possibly regular trips to a groomer. She frequently cuddles with her foster sister Brioche, and they would be a great pair to adopt together.

Wary Crostini is a very nervous cat, and her fosters are still working on socializing her. She came to us younger and later than her foster siblings Breadstick, Baguette, and Brioche, and is taking time to adjust to the life of a house cat. She is making slow but very real progress, responding well to treats but still easily scared and not ready yet for pets. Her fosters are looking forward to getting to know her better as she learns that humans are friends. Crostini sometimes cuddles and plays with her foster brother Breadstick, and they may be a good pair to go together once she is ready for adoption.

Playful - Sweet - Cautious Brioche is a shy, mild-mannered beauty who may take some time to find her comfort zone, but once she does she becomes an affectionate sweetie who loves pets and attention, and the moment any sort of toy comes out she’ll show a very energetic and playful side. She also likes having her long, beautiful hair brushed, although it’s prone to matting and may require maintenance or even trips to a groomer. Brioche may take some patience and care to overcome her nervous nature, but anyone who does will be well rewarded with a sweet and playful friend. She frequently cuddles with her foster sister Baguette, and they would be a great pair to adopt together.

Meet Mr. Man. This 17-pound chonk was TNR’d by a good Samaritan last fall. Seeing how friendly he was, she reached out to us for help bringing him indoors last month and now he’s ready for his forever home. Mr. Mahon, a.k.a. solstice, a.k.a. Saul, a.k.a. soul sister, is a Big Perfect Boy.  He loves face skritches, scratches, and pets. He is quick not just to allow but also to ask for such warm interaction. As you get to know him, he’ll open his whole belly to you and insist on kitteh massages all over. While he really appreciates physical affection, Mr. Mahon is not needy. He rarely gives more than a light swap if he feels you’ve gone too far. Oh, and he never ever holds a grudge! Mr. Man integrated bravely and thoughtfully. He’s very good at reading a room and is a quick study. He will take more time around other animals, particularly dogs, though he’s proven he can do it—and without a grudge. Sol loves his kibble. LOVES IT.  He doesn’t care what kind. He wants nothing to do with anything wet. He once ate some frisky shreds. Once. Don’t bother with cans, don’t bother with pouches, don’t bother with soups. He will eat treats! But he doesn’t need many because he has a strong relationship with Kibble.  He has started to eat raw freeze-dried toppers. Given this love affair, we suggest using an automatic feeder. He’s quite fit - a brick house really- and keeping that up will be great. Plus, you know, the kibble thing. Mr. Mahon just started really actively playing! He loves the wand with feathers on it in particular. Think hunting when you play with him and it will be marvelous. Mr. Mahon loves the scratchers! And given how much he likes cuddles, having a scratcher around is key. It’s becoming clear that Mr. Mahon is very happy to have alone time, but more and more he chooses fully chill out in shared spaces. Mr. Man is basically perfect. Mr. Man is about 2 years old, neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped and tested FIV+ and FeLV negative.

Our Hermes is a friendly and cuddly guy who loves treats and being pampered with his brush. Unfortunately, he has developed a sudden dislike for our dog and after over a year of trying to problem solve, we came to the difficult decision to look for a new home for him. Hermes has taken to spraying various things in our home (we believe as a way to mark territory) and I would highly advise he not be placed in a home with ANY dogs Hermes is fully blind. However, you wouldn’t guess it if you met him! He gets around rather well. Hermes is also on a special medicated diet to prevent him from developing bladder stones.
