Story
This stunning long haired beauty is Sage. She was rescued along with her 3 kittens. Sage was found underweight with knots all over her body. Due to the extent of the knots she had to be shaved in many areas. Once her hair grows back her true beauty will shine. Sage is a confident girl who adjust quickly to new things. She does have a bit of "catitude" at times, mostly with the other kitties. She is ok with other cats as long as they respect her space. Sage does enjoy being petted and is fine with being picked up. Now that she is done raising her babies Sage is starting to enjoy some playtime. Sage is about 3 years old, ( as of 8/2024), spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FeLV and FIV. If interested in adopting, please email dlw0311@hotmail.com

Story
Spunky & Chewy - COURTESY POST - If interested please write to email below Chewy (female/black) and her fluffball sibling Spunky (male/orange) are a bonded pair that's looking for their new forever home. Due to medical and financial situations of their current owner, she had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome them so they can get the care and attention they deserve. They're between 6-7 years old and are very playful. Chewy is the more outgoing of the two. She's quick to warm up to new people, follows everyone around, and loves playing with her toys when she's not wrestling with Spunky. Spunky is shy around new people but once he gets comfortable he loves the attention and turns into a lap cat. He does get a random case of the zoomies from time to time and starts to chirp when he gets excited. He's also a fan of a good cardboard scratching pad. The two are always close to each other wherever they go. Both cats have had recent check ups, vaccinations, and are FIV/FeLV negative. Spunky is missing a few teeth so he'd benefit from a soft food diet and both cats have lived with small dogs and children. if you are interested in adopting these two loveable kitties please contact Karin @ pa4gbodine60race@aol.com for an application.  Adoption fee is $150.00 for both - these 2 are VERY BONDED and must be adopted together.August 18, 2024, 7:10 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Clair! This DIVA is ready to settle in for her remaining years with a comfortable and loving home.  Claire's owner passed away, leaving her all alone. She has had many admirers who would love to take her home, but she is a NO OTHER CATS kind of gal.  A quiet environment would suit her best.  She is loving, yet independent (typical kitty)!Clair would love to have a home with windows that she can look out of...not too much to ask! If you can put on cat tv with birds that would be even more perfect! She is perfectly content to play on her own with her favorite toys (that will go along with her, of course)--balls with bells, and her banana toy. She loves Fancy Feast wet food and treats! Clair has a slight cloudiness in her right eye. The vet says it doesn't bother her, and she's likely had it since birth.  She possibly has limited vision in that eye, but other than that, it is of no concern. Clair is up to date on vaccines, spayed and FIV/FeLV negative. Clair is currently isolated in a foster home since there are other pets in the home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update:Leila (on the bottom) is a striking longhair and a pretty big-sized lady. She has warmed up to her foster Mom considerably since coming to her current foster home and will sometimes accept being petted when approached calmly. Although she certainly spends some time outside in the enclosed yard of her foster building, she spends the majority of her time inside, usually on a cat tree or comfy bed. She seems certain to be a real homebody and will be a beautiful presence in a quiet, traffic-safe barn home. Leila and her long-term companion, Croissant, continue to be closely bonded and are adoptable only as a pair. Original Post:Leila is a sweet but cautious kitty who is quite shy around most people. She might eventually allow a person she trusts to pet her, but doesn't want to be picked up or held. She does well with other cats, but has had no direct exposure to dogs. Leila will most likely be happiest as a barn cat in a quiet barn environment in a traffic-safe location. Adoption together with her close friend and companion, Croissant, is a must!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Rosie for more information about this pet.4/20/24Harvey is doing so well since entering foster care!  He's had excellent litterbox manners from day one and is such a quiet, sweet house guest.  He was very scared at first, but once his fellow foster cat Eleanor joined him, he's really come out of his shell, so we do think he would be happiest being adopted with a friendly buddy (maybe Eleanor?). He loves treats and really enjoys being brushed.  He's such a good boy!original post:Welcome Harvey to The Cat Shack! Actually, I should say welcome back to Harvey as he was adopted from the Cat Shack as a tiny kitten about 9 years ago. Harvey lived in the same home these past 9 years and witnessed so many changes! Marriages, a human baby joining the family and various new pets coming and going. His former owner tells us that Harvey is a sweet cat who loves to be brushed but he can startle easily. Because he frightens easily, he’s become stressed with the increased activities of a toddler and several outdoor cats and unfortunately, he’s missed the litterbox in his former home. His former owner believes that Harvey needs to live in a calmer household to really shine. The veterinarians at Perkiomen Animal Hospital have carefully checked Harvey and they have given him a clean bill of health! He’s now chilling in a quiet foster home so we will be able to get a better feel for his personality soon.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Story
Meet Jayne. She came to us with many kittens from a local surrender. We estimate her date of birth to be around the end of March 2023. She took some time to gain some weight and clear up an upper respiratory infection but now she is doing great and growing fast. Jayne is long haired and does have a face like a Main Coon cat. She will be fairly large for a female cat when full grown based on her current size. Jayne is now spayed, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for Feluk/FIV and is litterbox trained. Her adoption fee is $150.00. If you are interested in adopting Jayne, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the cat adoption application today!     ##2082270##
