Story
I found this kitty outside my apartment building about a week ago. I've tried to find her owner for days now and I haven't had any luck. She's very sweet and clearly was an inside cat. I've put her name down as Circe since she is pretty verbal but her meows are very cute so it hurts my heart I can't bring her inside. She loves cuddle and pets. So friendly that if I didn't already have the max number of pets for my apartment I'd keep her. I'm not sure how old she is, seems relatively young but she's pretty skinny so it's kinda hard to tell. I'm looking for a home that will let her be an inside cat like she clearly wants to be! I'm not sure if she's spayed so I put no just in case.

Story
This pretty lady is ready for a forever home. TO ADOPT: Fill out the application online at https://www.siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/adopt or soscatrescue.org or email Dee@soscatrescue.org and request a copy. More info at siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/FAQ Each cat will come to their new home with: neutered or spayed, age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV/FIV, heartworm negative, and microchipped. DOGS & CATS: Unless otherwise noted, they are compatible with calm dogs who are cat-friendly. They are also compatible with cat-friendly cats with similar energy levels. If interested in a cat/kitten with a higher energy level than your current cat, adopting a bonded pair is recommended to avoid upsetting your cat. Slow introduction to new dogs and cats, according to the Jackson Galaxy method, is important to ensure they get along. FLUFFY KITTIES: Adopters must have experience grooming long hair cats or be willing to take a quick class on YouTube about grooming long hair cats. TRANSPORT DETAILS: Kittens younger than 16 weeks: adopters can fly to Austin or San Antonio airports for pickup. Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner with prior arrangement for a small donation. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ, New England and a few other states for $185 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost may be split amongst adopters. Out of state transport must have an Interstate Health Certificate as mandated by law by a qualified veterinarian for $85 - $125 each. Story
(Central Texas Adoption Only)Name: HalloweenieAge: 2 yearsBreed: Tortie PointGender: FemaleCoat: Fluffy with white feet, white belly, and a magnificent fluffy tailSpecial Needs: Daily brushing, experienced cat owner requiredAbout Halloweenie:Halloweenie is a beautiful 2-year-old tortie point with a soft, fluffy coat and adorable white feet and belly. She's got a stunning tail that adds to her charm, but her luxurious fur does require regular brushing to keep her looking her best.Halloweenie is extremely shy and will need a quiet, patient home where she can take her time to come out of her shell. She’s had a tough start to life as a street cat, so she’s understandably cautious around new people and environments. However, with time, patience, and understanding, Halloweenie has the potential to become a wonderful companion.Ideal Home:Halloweenie would thrive in a calm, stable environment with an experienced cat owner who understands the needs of shy, timid cats. She needs someone who will allow her to adjust at her own pace without forcing interactions. A home without young children or overly energetic pets would be best, as she can be easily startled. Why Adopt Halloweenie? If you’re an experienced cat person looking for a special, long-term project and you have the patience to let Halloweenie come to you on her terms, she will reward you with her quiet presence and gentle companionship. She’s not the type of cat to demand attention, but once she trusts you, you’ll find a loyal and loving friend in her.Are you the kind, understanding, and patient person Halloweenie has been waiting for? If so, she’s ready to start her new life with you!Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
